Control methods of rotten melon and zucchini rotten melon caused by four diseases
The following four diseases can cause rotten zucchini, which should be prevented as soon as possible.
Rotten zucchini melon
Botrytis cinerea first invaded the wilted flowers, the petals of zucchini showed water stains at the beginning, then became soft and rotten, and then became gray brown mold layer, which made the petals rot, wilt and fall off, and the pathogen spread to young melons gradually. The damaged parts of zucchini first become soft and rotten, followed by a large number of gray mildew layers.
Sclerotinia sclerotiorum mainly infects the stem vines and melons of zucchini. When infected, melons show water stains at first, then soften, long white hyphae and scattered black mouse fecal sclerotia. The prevention and treatment of zucchini Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Botrytis cinerea are basically the same, which can be controlled by the combination of dipping flower, spray and fumigation. One is to dip in the anther and add 50% isobarbamide wettable powder 500 times the solution. The second is to spray 50% isobarbamide wettable powder or 50% ethylene sclerotiorin water dispersible granule 1000 times. Third, after closing the shed, fumigate with 200 grams of 10% sclerotia per mu. In order to avoid drug damage, smoking should be chosen in the second half of the night and ventilated the next morning.
Zucchini fruit rot, in the early stage, the melon is moist and rotten, in the middle and later stage, the disease is white and pinkish, the melon is rotten, and the juice flows out of the disease. To control fruit rot, you can use 72.2% aldicarb hydrochloric acid salt 600 times or copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension 500 times spray.
Zucchini soft rot, at the beginning of the disease, the diseased melon showed brown water stains, then softened rapidly, and the tissue of the disease rotted. The disease spreads rapidly. After the melon is rotten, it gives off a foul smell, but there is no mildew, which is the biggest difference from Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and fruit rot. Soft rot is a bacterial disease, which is spread by Rain Water, irrigation water and insects and invaded by the wound. In cloudy and rainy days or when the dew is not dry, pruning and field operation will cause cracks at the base of the petiole, which will cause bacterial infection and lead to soft rot. Copper preparations are mainly used to prevent and cure soft rot, such as 50% copper succinate (500 times liquid), or 20% oleic acid copper EC (500-800 times liquid), etc. Control every 7-10 days, 2-3 times in a row, and stop using drugs 3-5 days before harvest.
For these four diseases of zucchini, in addition to chemical control, it is also necessary to strengthen management and reduce the humidity in the greenhouse. When watering, the small water is watered frequently, and the sunny day is chosen to water at noon. In continuous cloudy days, smoke agent is used to control diseases to avoid increasing air humidity due to spraying. On the basis of maintaining the temperature in the shed, pay attention to strengthening ventilation.
