Swine rhinitis is mainly characterized by stuffy nose, sneezing, difficulty in breathing and snoring. When eating, you can see that you can eat a few mouthfuls and take a deep breath with your mouth or take a breath. After eating or strenuous exercise, the symptoms of nasal congestion and dyspnea should be obvious. Rhinitis is a common respiratory disease in 2-5-month-old piglets.

1. Clinical symptoms:

At the beginning of the disease, pigs can be seen sneezing, difficulty inhaling, runny nose, thickening or white foam after 2-4 days, and purulent after more than 10 days. Some pigs still have white foamy snot more than 30 days after the illness. Sick pigs show unease, shaking their heads, constantly grinding the ends of their noses and stuffy noses on the ground, on the wall, on the edge of the trough, etc., and can hear a loud "Xi Xi" sound due to breathing difficulties. The body temperature is rising, the appetite is normal or decreased, and the spirit is OK.

2. Treatment:

1. After pressing into the syringe with thikanamycin 4-5ml, remove the needle and spray it directly into the nostrils on both sides of the pig, once a day, usually twice.

2. One dose of 1 million units of streptomycin sulfate plus water for 5ml injection was dissolved and injected into the nostrils of the affected pigs for consolidation treatment twice.

3. Nose and eye cleansing solution, drop into pig nostril, use only one a day, can be used several times depending on the condition.

3. Prevention:

A simple way to prevent pig rhinitis: when buying piglets, use kanamycin sulfate 2-4ml to spray into both nostrils of piglets.
