After the fish species and the commercial fish are merged into the pond in winter, the density of the fish pond increases, the oxygen demand of the fish increases, and the freezing leads to the closure of the water surface. If the fish is not replenished with oxygen in time, it is easy to lead to fish death and serious loss. Even if the fish do not die immediately after hypoxia, the growth will be affected, resulting in a reduction in production. Therefore, supplying oxygen to fish ponds in winter can not only prevent the death of fish from anoxia, but also benefit the growth in the coming year, so as to increase the yield and benefit. Effective methods for overwintering fish ponds:

Replenish oxygen by water injection in fish ponds

Circulating water injection to supply oxygen: several nearby fish ponds are connected with cement pipes or plastic pipes, and the water in one pond is mechanically pumped to another pond to form a circulation. After the water body flows, the contact with the air increases, and the oxygen in the air dissolves into the water body, thus increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water body.

Application of organic fertilizer to supplement oxygen: the application of 150 kg organic fertilizer per mu in overwintering fish ponds can promote the growth and reproduction of phytoplankton, improve the photosynthetic capacity and pond water temperature, and increase the oxygen content in water.

Inject fertilizer and water to replenish oxygen: inject water from other fish ponds with fatter water into overwintering fish ponds. There are many phytoplankton in fertilizer and water, which can increase the dissolved oxygen in water by increasing the photosynthesis of phytoplankton.

Stirring pond water to replenish oxygen: in severe winter, the surface ice of fish ponds can be broken, the bottom water of fish ponds can be stirred, the lower water is mixed with the upper water, and the dissolved oxygen of the upper water is transported to the lower layer to supplement the dissolved oxygen of the lower water.

Regular change of water and oxygen: choose a warm and windless day to change water, each time the amount of water change is 1/3 of the pond water, pay attention to the water temperature difference can not exceed 3 ℃, through the change of water can restore the balance of dissolved oxygen and nutrients, reduce pond water icing.

Break the ice to make up for oxygen: after the fish pond freezes, it hinders the air circulation, and the pond fish are easy to die due to lack of oxygen. If the fish pond can be broken in time after freezing, and then inject some new water, the problem of freezing and anoxia in the fish pond can be solved. Generally, frozen fish ponds have about 30 20cm ice holes per mu, while seriously frozen fish ponds have about 40 25cm ice holes per mu, and more fresh water is injected after ice breaking, so that the underground warm water is better. Mild icing, generally do not need to break the ice, timely injection of appropriate amount of new water to prevent aggravating icing.
