1. Prepare before planting

Soil preparation: dig back the soil from the flower bed or field, first sieve and crush the large particles. If there are conditions, soil disinfection can be carried out, the organic fertilizer mixed must be fermented and mature, and chemical fertilizer should be used as little as possible.

Seedling stage: first disinfect the seeds, soak the seeds of virgin fruit in 55 ℃ warm water for 20 minutes and stir continuously, the amount of water is about 5 times the volume of seeds. After cooling to 28 ℃, keep it at this temperature and soak for 24 hours, changing water once or twice. The second is to promote germination, drain the seeds, wrap them in wet towels, place them in an environment of 28 ℃ and 30 minutes, wash them with clean water once a day, and germinate within 1 to 2 days.

2. Planting:

Dig deep 1cm holes in the soil, put in germinated seeds, cover with 0.5-1cm loose soil, and maintain the temperature at about 25 ℃. This soil had better be watered the day before. Before the seedling arch soil, it is necessary to water more to keep the soil moist. Three to four days later, two cotyledons emerged from the soil. Then the temperature remains the same during the day, and the night temperature drops to about 20 ℃. After the leaves are increased to four or five, it is necessary to "see the dry and wet", that is to say, the soil should be watered thoroughly. After each watering, you can use a small hook to go deep into the soil and loosen the soil about 5cm.

3. Transplanting:

The seedlings can be transplanted with 5 leaves after they grow 4MUE. Dig out the seedlings with soil, dig a good hole in the big basin, put the whole small soil into it, and pour it thoroughly. Transplanting can make the seedlings lose their roots and grow again, so that the virgin fruit will grow well. In principle, there is no watering or topdressing after transplanting, but it should also be based on the actual situation. If it is too dry, it should be added appropriately.

4. Blossom and bear fruit

About 15 days after transplanting, the seedlings of the virgin began to grow in a large basin. After the beginning of flowering and fruit setting, water and topdressing are watered and fertilized, and then watered and fertilized every 10 days, and loosen the soil. The temperature is maintained at 25 ℃ 30 ℃ during the day and 15 ℃ at night. Wait until about 40cm, need to make a support, let the virgin fruit climb the support to continue to grow, to prevent lodging. It should be noted that the scaffold must follow the original growth direction, do not twist.

The virgin fruit is a hermaphroditic flower, which usually pollinates automatically or can be gently tapped with a bamboo pole to promote pollination. In addition, when the bifurcation grows to about 10cm, it should be forked in time to prevent the lateral branches from growing excessively and affect the growth of virgin fruit.

It takes about three months from sowing to harvest. After 90 days, you can taste the virgin fruit planted by yourself.
