Third, the peak period of egg production. In production practice, in order to make the peak period of egg production come, the maximum amount of feed in the early stage of egg production is generally 10-15% higher than that of this breed of duck during the peak period of egg production. The amount of feed is generally not reduced during the peak period of egg production, and the highest level is maintained all the time. However, after the peak of egg production, the excess feed must be reduced by 10-15%, otherwise ducks will be overfat, especially male ducks, which will have difficulty or unwillingness to climb hips, and female ducks will also produce fewer eggs because of overweight. The weight reduction after the peak period should be combined with egg laying week age, egg laying rate and egg weight. 2 weeks after the egg production rate no longer rises, the diet begins to begin, usually at the age of 21-32 weeks. At this time, the egg weight should be more than 90 grams. The average feed consumption of each duck was reduced by about 10-15 grams. Fourth, the later stage of egg laying. After 48 weeks of age, the laying rate of meat ducks began to decline at a rate of 1-2% per week. Because the female ducks had fully matured at this time, and the egg weight remained stable accordingly, the nutritional requirements of female ducks began to decrease. If the feeding amount was not reduced at this time, fat deposition would inevitably result in fat deposition, which would lead to the decline of egg laying rate in the later stage, resulting in feed waste. Therefore, the feed should be reduced gradually with the decrease of laying rate from the age of 48 weeks. Diet reduction can also be used tentatively, that is, the average daily feed consumption of each duck is reduced by 5 grams for 4 days. If the egg laying rate decreases greatly during this period, the original feed quantity should be restored immediately; if the decrease is normal, it should be fed according to the feed quantity after reduction. This method is repeated every 10 days. In general, the daily feeding amount of breeder ducks in the late laying period is 80-85% of that in the peak period.
