Control methods of root rot of cabbage with browning at the base of stem
Cabbage root rot
First, the main symptoms. In the cabbage seedling stage or shortly after planting, the stem base epidermis turned brown and rotted, then the root system rotted, and the diseased plant was easily pulled out.
Second, the condition of the disease. The mycelium overwintered in cabbage seeds and soil. Cabbage which is mostly covered with plastic film in early spring or cultivated in small arch greenhouse or plastic greenhouse is a disease of low temperature and high humidity, and the pathogen can spread with irrigation water.
3. Prevention and control methods:
1. Seed treatment: select good varieties, soak the seeds with 800 times withered Antai solution for 4 hours, disinfect, fish out, rinse with clean water twice, accelerate germination and sow seeds after leaching, or disinfect with 1% salt water.
2. Soil treatment of seedling bed: the bed soil was disinfected with 1000 times carbendazim or mixed with 1000 times wilting Antai solution. Matrine powder can be used 1000 times to control underground pests. The seedling bed should be flat, convenient for watering in the future, and the thickness is about 10cm. Using organic bioactive fertilizer as seedling fertilizer can improve the resistance of cabbage to root rot.
3. Sowing and raising seedlings: the germinated seeds are sown on the seedling bed and then covered with soil, generally covering soil about 1cm, and sandy loam is suitable for covering soil. After covering the soil, cover with plastic shed cloth to increase the temperature to facilitate seedling emergence. Do not flood irrigation, in case of high humidity and low temperature, causing a variety of seedbed diseases.
4. Seedbed management: after the seedlings are unearthed, sprinkle water at the right time to prevent water shortage and avoid flooding. When 30% of the seedlings emerge, spray the seedling bed and seedlings with wilt Antai 500 times liquid for 2-3 times to prevent blight, sudden collapse and root rot, with an interval of 7-10 days. Spraying Weisheng D1300 liquid for 1-2 times after seedling emergence with an interval of 10-15 days can promote the robust growth of seedlings and prevent the invasion of diseases. After the seedling is big, pour the seedling in time, take the plant as the unit, the interval is 2 inches. After pouring the seedlings, they should be watered and should not be flooded. Before transplanting, release and dry the seedlings in time to make the seedlings aging. The day before transplanting, the flood water should be watered once and thoroughly.
5. Planting management: when planting, spray the seedling bed and seedlings with 300 times solution of wilting Antai or 500 times solution of 50% Gen Yuling and other fungicides to prevent seedlings from bringing bacteria into the greenhouse. When planting, can be planted between leek and cabbage, can reduce cabbage root rot, this is because leek can produce a strong special smell, can deworming and sterilization.
