Many mushroom farmers found the abnormal phenomenon of hericium Erinaceus in the process of cultivating hericium Erinaceus, so the Green Food Network sorted out the causes and prevention methods of hericium Erinaceus, which can be used as a reference for mushroom farmers.

Bald without thorns

Hericium Erinaceus is bald and thornless: due to high temperature and low humidity, the evaporation of fruiting body is often too large at 25 ℃, but the humidity fails to keep up in time, resulting in the formation of bald mushrooms without long bristles.

Preventive method: pay attention to temperature control and moisturizing. When the temperature exceeds 25 ℃, the field cultivation should uncover the film in the morning and evening, open the film at both ends during the day to make it breathable; irrigation in the border and ditch, reduce the ground temperature, spray atomized water in space, increase humidity, keep above 90%, and thicken the shade cover, reduce sunlight penetration, reduce water evaporation.

Coral plexus deformity

Coral cluster shape: the mushroom body is clustered with many branches at the base of the mushroom body, which is shaped like coral, and a root-like fungal cord can be seen connected to the culture medium. Some of the seed bodies die in the mushroom stage, and some can continue to grow. The tip of the branchlet expands continuously to form several fruiting bodies of hericium Erinaceus. This kind of mushroom is mainly caused by excessive concentration of carbon dioxide, stimulating stalk differentiation and inhibiting the development of the center, and also because the culture material contains aromatic compounds or other bactericidal substances, so that the growth and development of mycelium is inhibited or abnormally stimulated; some growers place one-sided emphasis on heat preservation and moisturizing while neglecting ventilation and ventilation, which forces the fruit body to develop abnormally under this condition of saturated humidity and static air.

Prevention methods: 1. Strengthen ventilation and ventilation in mushroom farms to prevent the occurrence of abnormal young mushrooms, especially indoor cultivation, pay more attention to ventilation and improve environmental conditions. 2. When selecting culture materials, trees with germicidal effect such as fir, pine, camphor, poplar and locust should be removed. 3. The coral-like fruiting body has been formed, which is immediately scraped off together with the surface culture material when young, and then cultured again to produce mushrooms normally.

Mushroom color abnormality

Abnormal mushroom color: generally, hericium Erinaceus mushroom body color is yellow, spines are short and thick, some fruiting bodies turn red or young mushrooms are pink at the beginning of maturity, and the mushroom body tastes bitter. This kind of mushroom is often cultivated in autumn and winter, the air temperature drops suddenly, the temperature of fruiting body development stage is lower than 10 ℃, the mushroom body turns red, and the color deepens with the decrease of air temperature. When indoor cultivation is ventilated, the fruiting body is stimulated by DC wind, and the mushroom body is yellow.

The etiology and symptomatic treatment of Pleurotus ostreatus should be distinguished. If the inoculation is caused by low temperature, it is necessary to take into account that the local temperature is not lower than 14 ℃ about 25 days after inoculation, and take this as the boundary to calculate the best inoculation period to avoid low temperature damage.

Preventive measures: field planting, can seal the cover film, ventilation when the temperature is high at noon, and dilute the cover, draw light to increase the temperature; indoor cultivation, avoid direct wind blowing hericium Erinaceus mushroom body, or cover the mushroom bag near the window with wet gauze.
