First, choose the venue. Optionally sheltered cellar and greenhouse. Can also be self-built semi-cellar, generally dug into a width of 2 meters, length according to the garlic yellow cultivation area, the depth of 1-1.3 meters of the pit, dug around the pit, 20-30 cm high. Then use corn stalks (hard firewood stalks) to build a shed and cover it with horse dung or soil to keep it away from light and heat, leaving an accessible hole in the south.

Second, select improved varieties. Garlic yellow mainly depends on the nutrients stored in garlic cloves, so it is necessary to choose garlic with big garlic and large garlic cloves as seed. It is best to choose 6 cloves of purple garlic as seed, the garlic yellow, sturdy, neat, fast growth and high yield.

Third, sow seeds at the right time. Sown at the end of December and listed around the Spring Festival. When sowing, spread the fertile fine soil of 7~10cm at the bottom of the pit and flatten it. Soak the garlic in clean water for 12 to 16 hours, remove and drain, and then sow. The gap between garlic and garlic should be filled with garlic cloves. After the row is strict, cover the 3~5cm thick soil, and then seal the mouth of the cellar.

Fourth, post-broadcast management. The key to the growth of garlic yellow is moisture and temperature. Spray water about every 3 days after sowing to keep it moist. After spraying water, it is found that the topsoil sinks, and when the garlic tip is exposed, cover it strictly with fine soil. The suitable temperature for the growth of garlic yellow is 20-25 ℃, and when the temperature is lower than 15 ℃, the garlic yellow grows slowly. In case of low temperature, electric lamp or coal stove can be used to raise temperature.

Fifth, harvest at the right time. After 28 days of cultivation, the plant height can reach 35cm, and the plant can be harvested at this time. Spray water 2 days before harvest. Be careful in harvesting and don't trample or cut garlic. Cut off the garlic, spread out and bask for a while at noon, change it from "white yellow" to "golden yellow", and then go on the market. When the second crop of garlic in the cellar grows to 5-10cm, it is still necessary to do water spraying and other management work. After about 30 days, two crops of garlic can be harvested.
