Fish ponds against cold

Cold prevention in deep water: choose fish ponds with a leeward to the sun and a water depth of more than 2 meters to make the fish survive the winter safely. At the same time, the overwintering pool water can not be in a static state for a long time, usually change part of the water every 20 to 30 days, each time replace the total pool water 1: 4, 1: 5, in order to prevent water pollution.

Wall hole cold damage: set up a wind barrier, cold shelter to prevent the cold. Specific method: in the north of the fish pond with straw or soil to build more than 2 meters high wind barrier, east and west sides to build a south inclined earth wall into a dustpan shape, in order to reduce the north wind attack. A drainage ditch is built around the fish pond to prevent stagnant water from flowing into the pond and reduce the temperature of the pond. The north windshield wall can dig 1 or 2 cold shelter holes with a depth of 2m and a diameter of 0.8m from the bottom of the pool 40cm. Heating against cold damage: ① steam heating: set up a stove next to the overwintering fish pond and boil the water with an iron pot to make the steam enter the overwintering fish pond through a special bamboo tube connected with a hose to raise the water temperature.

② infrared light heating: in the overwintering fish pond covered with plastic film greenhouse, install a 250W infrared light bulb every 35 square meters of water, 30cm from the water surface, and fix a piece of water-absorbing thick papery or other water-absorbing material at about 60cm above the light bulb, waterproof vapor condensed into water dripping on the light bulb, so that the light bulb burst or misfire.

Add materials to prevent cold damage: during the overwintering period, bait feeding should not be ignored, especially high-protein concentrate. Feeding concentrate containing high protein can improve cold resistance and prevent the physical decline of overwintering fish. During preparation, attention should be paid to nutritional matching, especially the adequacy of amino acid balance, vitamins and trace elements.

Increase oxygen and prevent cold damage: if the fish pond freezes too thick and the water body under the ice is anoxic, the fish can be suffocated to death. At this time, it is necessary to immediately sweep the snow, break the ice, change water in time, start oxygen-increasing machinery, and apply microbial preparations regularly to improve water quality.
