1. Cutting methods

The cutting of carnation is divided into three steps: first, healthy and sturdy new branches are selected and branches of about 10cm length are cut from the nodes; then good breathable soil is selected as the substrate for cutting, which is watered thoroughly and placed in a cool place; after taking root for about 2 months, the plant can be transplanted into the basin, giving the plant sufficient sunshine and normal maintenance.

II. Conservation of the environment

It is best to cut after early spring, the maintenance temperature is maintained at about 14-20 ℃, which is conducive to rooting and plant growth; in addition, keep sufficient sunshine, wait for basin soil to dry before watering, dilute phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied before flowering.
