Last Updated: 2024/11/22, There are many reasons why Phalaenopsis leaves have black spots: if they grow black spots due to strong light, they should be shaded in time; if the environment is too bad, they should be moved to a clean environment; if they are caused by illness, they should be removed and sprayed in time; if the temperature is too low, the temperature should be raised to 20-24 ℃.

1. Proper shading

Reason: Phalaenopsis can not be illuminated by strong light, if the light is too strong, it will burn the leaves, causing partial burns and black spots.

Solution: put it in a place where astigmatism is shining, or shade it properly when the sun is at its most poisonous.

2. Clean the environment

Reason: in the environment with more soot, orchids are vulnerable to smoke and dust, resulting in black spots.

Solution: Phalaenopsis breeding places with fresh air, clean and tidy is appropriate, do not breed in places with too much dust and smoke.

3. Spraying medicine in time

Reason: black spots on the plant are likely to be infected with diseases and insect pests. Only by removing the source of the disease in time can the plant grow better.

Solution: when the number of flowers and leaves is large, the long-spotted leaves can be cut off to prevent cross-infection, while 80% mancozeb or 80% Dasheng 800 times liquid and other agents are sprayed on the plant, keeping 2-3 times a month.

4. Raise the temperature

Reason: Phalaenopsis is a tropical plant, so withered leaves or black spots will occur when the temperature is too low.

Solution: control the room temperature at 20-24 ℃, no less than 10 ℃ in winter, otherwise the growth will stop.
