How to deal with the withering of aloe leaves

Last Updated: 2024/11/22, There are many reasons for aloe leaf wilt, if it is caused by normal metabolism, it can be maintained normally; if it is caused by lack of water, it should be replenished appropriately; if it is caused by soil discomfort, it needs to be changed or loosened; if it is caused by leaf blight, Bordeaux solution or carbendazim should be sprayed.

1. Normal maintenance

(1) specific reason: it may be normal. When the plant is metabolized at some time, some of the leaves may wither, but the number will not be too large. Observe the number of leaves, whether only a small number of leaves have dried up.

(2) solution: at this time, there is no need to take special measures, just normal maintenance. After a while, the plant will return to normal.

2. Replenish proper amount of water

(1) specific reasons: the growth of aloe is more exuberant in spring and summer, especially when evaporation is also relatively large. If there is no water, it is easy to make the leaves wither.

(2) solution: in spring and summer, pour a little more water. Slowly reduce the amount of water after the beginning of autumn.

3. Change or loosen the soil

(1) specific reasons: the soil is not suitable, or there is no loosening soil for a long time, so that the air permeability of the soil is not good, and the leaves are easy to wither.

(2) solution: we can first try to loosen the soil and improve its ventilation. If it doesn't work, then the soil will have to be changed.

4. Prevention and treatment of diseases

(1) the specific reason: it may be leaf blight, which is easy to occur from July to October. The lower part of the leaf has severe symptoms. It occurs frequently in the case of high temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation.

(2) solution: get rid of the diseased leaves to prevent the disease from spreading. Then, spray some Bordeaux liquid or carbendazim.
