Last Updated: 2024/11/06, The jasmine leaves are still green but may be withered and withered in the normal growth process. When pruning, you can observe the color of the gap to judge whether the branches are dead or not; if caused by too much watering, you can move the plant to a ventilated place to control dry water; if caused by excessive fertilization, suspend fertilization for a period of time and water thoroughly.

1. Normal growth

Reason: after the growth period passed, jasmine gradually entered the dormant period, entered the normal metabolic state, and the leaves gradually dried and yellowed Lignification.

Solution: pruning branches, if the gap is black, the branches may die, unable to grow new branches, cut off; if the cut is still blue, can be pruned properly, until the next spring re-sprouting, flowering.

2. Overwatering

Reason: Jasmine likes slightly wet soil, but can not be watered too much. If there is stagnant water in the basin, the root system of the plant can not breathe smoothly, resulting in rot.

Solution: when it is hot in summer, it can be watered in the morning and evening; if the basin soil is stagnant, move the plant to a warm and ventilated place in time, raise the basin bottom, control dry moisture, and prevent too much root system from being affected.

3. Excessive fertilization

Reason: excessive fertility will lead to burning the roots of the plant, but hinder the absorption of nutrients.

Solution: during the growing period, thin fertilizer should be applied frequently, once or twice a month; if you inadvertently apply too much fertilizer, you can suspend fertilization, water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and change the soil when it is serious.
