Peach trees cultivated in greenhouses must be cooled for a certain period of time to meet their cooling requirements before they can be warmed up and released from dormancy. Peach trees cultivated in greenhouse must be forced to dormancy artificially, so that peach trees can complete physiological changes through a series of low temperature exercise, and finally germinate, grow, bloom and bear fruit normally.

Peach Tree Management in Greenhouse

Management at elevated temperatures:

1. Pest control: When starting to heat up, spray insecticide once first to kill red spiders, aphids and other pests overwintering on peach trees. Pay attention to spraying evenly. At the beginning of germination, spray 3-5 Baume sulfur mixture to kill all germs.

2. Soil, fertilizer and water management: fertilization and watering within 10 days after warming up. Such as no base fertilizer or insufficient base fertilizer, after warming up, can apply 1 organic fertilizer, and then apply a small amount of compound fertilizer. After fertilizing, irrigate 1 big water, irrigate thoroughly, wait for soil to be a little dry, undertake 1 loosen soil.

Third, mulch film: mulch film helps to improve ground temperature.

Management of temperature and humidity in shed during germination period:

Temperature management: At the beginning, the temperature cannot rise too fast. If the temperature is too fast and the temperature is too high, it will lead to rapid germination and flowering of peach trees, and the phenomenon of bud first and flower later will occur, which will make the leaf buds compete for stored nutrients, resulting in reduced fruit setting rate, seriously affecting the development and expansion of young fruits, resulting in young fruit shedding. The temperature rise is divided into 3 steps: the first step is to pull up only 13 of the straw cover during the day, two at intervals, one at a time, so that the temperature of the white ceiling is 13℃-15℃, and at night it is 6℃-8℃, so that it is maintained for 2-3 days. The second step is to pull up 1/2 of the straw mat during the day, one at a time, one at a time, and the temperature of the shed is 16 - 18 DEG C during the day and 7 - 10 DEG C at night for 2-3 days. Third step, pull up all the straw cover in the day, when the temperature is too high, open the top vent, ventilate and cool down, so that the temperature of the white ceiling is 20℃-23℃, and at night it is 7℃-10℃.

Humidity management: The relative humidity of the air in the greenhouse is 70%-80%, which is conducive to the germination of peach trees. If the humidity is too high, it can be adjusted by ventilation, controlled watering and mulching; if the humidity is too low, it can be sprinkled, sprayed or watered on the ground and trees to increase the humidity.

Management of temperature and humidity during germination:

Temperature management: greenhouse cultivation peach, temperature regulation is very important. Low temperature, peach root activity blocked, tree germination late; high temperature, leaf bud germination early, first leaves after flowers, affecting fruit setting. In germination stage, the highest temperature in daytime is 25℃, and the lowest temperature in night is 0℃. The temperature regulation method in this stage is to fasten the film and close the vent. During the day, pull up the straw mat, see the light temperature; at night, cover the straw mat, heat preservation. The temperature in the shed is mainly increased by sunlight, controlled by opening and closing vents, covering grass and covering, etc. From germination to flowering, the temperature is 10℃-18℃ during the day and above 5℃ at night.

Humidity management: humidity in the shed includes soil humidity and air humidity. Due to the closed state of most of the time in the shed, the air humidity is easy to be too high, the soil humidity can be adjusted by irrigation, and the air humidity can be adjusted by ventilation. When the humidity in the shed exceeds 80%, the ventilation method is used to adjust the humidity without affecting the temperature. In addition, humidity can be reduced by irrigation control. If the soil is dry, after irrigation, it can be covered with plastic film, but also can be divided into turns of hole irrigation, it is best to adopt peach film irrigation method.
