Zizania caduciflora white and tender, containing a lot of amino acids, delicious taste, rich nutrition, excellent flavor. The harvest time of Zizania caduciflora is from May to June and from September to October, which is in the off-season of vegetables, so the benefit is considerable. The following editor introduces to you the cultivation techniques of high quality and high yield of Zizania caduciflora.

Zizania caduciflora planting

(1) soil tillage: planting Zizania caduciflora in fields with shelter from the wind to the sun, drainage and irrigation, and loose and fertile soil. Before planting, water ploughing and water preparation should be done. Before soil preparation, 3500-4000 kg of green manure or stable manure or 3000-4000 kg of human manure should be applied as base fertilizer, mashed and leveled so that the soil is rotten, fat and flat, and the ridges of the fields should be consolidated to strictly prevent water leakage and fertilizer leakage. After exposure to the sun for a few days, recharge 3cm in shallow water to prepare for planting.

(2) seed selection and planting: the seed pier should be selected 6-7 days before autumn harvest, the plant should be short, the growth potential is not too strong, and the height of each leaf is about the same, but the last two heart leaves are obviously shortened, such as the leaf sheath and Zizania caduciflora are tightened together.

Zizania caduciflora can be planted in spring or autumn. No matter the late-maturing varieties of Zizania latifolia in single or double seasons, when the mother pier sprouted with high 33~40cm from April to May, Zizania latifolia had 3 true leaves. Dig up the Zizania latifolia pier, divide it with a quick knife, split several small stumps, take stolons and 6 strong tillers per pier, cut off the leaves and retain the leaf sheath length 16~26cm, so as to reduce water evaporation and improve survival.

Autumn planting: Laodun was dug up after the Beginning of Spring sprouted, cut 8 to 10 per sin, planted in lotus root field or fertile rotten mud field to raise seedlings, often kept water depth 3cm, there were more than 10 tillers in each hole from July to August, and planted separately again.

When the pregnant Zizania caduciflora entered the pregnant period from July to August, the weak tillers were removed, leaving one Zizania latifolia every 10 square centimeters. At the beginning of August, the yellow leaves were picked 2 times and used as fertilizer, and a piece of mud was pressed in the Zizania caduciflora pier to make the plant open to Zizania caduciflora pier 4 to facilitate ventilation and reduce diseases.

(3) Fertilizer and water management: Zizania caduciflora has a long growing period, more tillers, a large amount of fertilizer absorption, once planting and multiple harvesting, and must attach equal importance to base fertilizer and topdressing for 4 to 5 times. According to the principle of "promotion-control-promotion", seedling fertilizer is applied 7-10 days after planting, and 500~1000kg clear dung water per mu is applied to promote seedling growth. Half a month later, 1000~1500kg clear dung water or 10~15kg urea was applied per mu, and then stopped fertilizing to avoid overgrowth, and then entered the tillering stage. From late July to early September, the tillers entered the pregnant stage of Zizania caduciflora. When Zizania caduciflora began to fatten, 3000~4000kg concentrated dung water and urea 20~25kg were applied per mu to promote the fatness of Zizania caduciflora.

The water level of Zizania caduciflora field is flexibly controlled according to the growth and development characteristics of Zizania caduciflora, based on the principle of "shallow-deep-shallow" (planting in shallow water, living trees in deep water, tillering in shallow water). Before sprouting, 2~3cm was irrigated in shallow water to promote germination, and after planting, the water depth 5~8cm was maintained, tillering and rooting were promoted, and at the later stage of tillering, it was deepened to 10~14cm, and ineffective tillering was controlled. During the high temperature period from July to August, the water depth should be kept 13~17cm, and the water should be changed frequently to reduce the temperature and reduce the diseases and insect pests. During the gestation period to 6-7 days before harvest, the fetal water should be irrigated according to the growth of the main stem of Zizania caduciflora. Keep about 15cm at first, then gradually deepen to 23~27cm, so that the whole Zizania caduciflora is immersed in water, but do not exceed the "Zizania caduciflora eye". In the later stage of pregnancy, shallow water was gradually irrigated to 3~7cm. After harvest, keep 2~3cm in shallow water to prevent roots from freezing and rotting.

(4) pest control: during pregnant Zizania caduciflora, there are Chilo suppressalis, Chilo suppressalis and long green planthopper, which should be poured with 100g / mu 50% fenitrothion EC plus 75~100kg water per mu or with 1000 times solution of 90% trichlorfon and 40% dimethoate after peeling off old leaves. After the Beginning of Autumn, aphids, leafhoppers and thrips can be sprayed with 1000 times dimethoate emulsion, 200g 300g 10% cicada powder and 50 ~ 75kg water, and Zizania latifolia rust can be sprayed with 800 times embroidered sodium.
