During the culture period, Auricularia auricula sometimes has the phenomenon of disinfection, that is, when the hyphae grow to the middle or bottom of the medium, the hyphae gradually weaken or even disappear from the material surface. 1. Improper proportion of raw materials:

The cultivation of Auricularia auricula has a wide range of raw materials, but the cultivation effects caused by different nutrients are also different. Such as poplar, willow, tung, Toona sinensis and other soft strip sawdust and soft straw such as grain straw, rice straw (shell), sorghum shell and other soft straw accounted for too large proportion of the medium components, the culture material malnutrition or bacteriostatic smell led to the death of barely surviving hyphae, that is, sterilization. Therefore, in cultivation, the main materials should try to choose tussah, birch, hazel, nan and other low shrubs and cottonseed shell, add soft sawdust or soft straw, do not exceed the proportion of the formula.

Second, the loading is too loose:

If the loading is too loose, it is not only easy to separate the bag material, but also lead to sterilization. The reason is that the gap between materials is large, there are many aerial hyphae, but the anti-aging ability of aerial hyphae is poor, and it is very easy to age and die, so that the culture medium shrinks and softens, resulting in the phenomenon of bacteria withdrawal.

Third, the culture material is too dry:

The water content of the culture material is 60% Mi 65%, and the mycelium grows well. If less than 53%, the anti-aging ability of mycelium decreases. The mycelium is weak, the growth rate is slow, and the mycelium shrinks and ages with the growth, thus the bacteria are reduced. During cultivation, the water content should not be too small. After the stuffy pile, the water content should be measured and the large particle raw materials should be pre-mixed in advance to avoid affecting the determination of water content due to the phenomenon of "false water".

4. Overheating of bacteria:

The decontamination of Auricularia auricula in autumn is mostly caused by the high temperature during the culture period. The same reason is that the temperature is too high, so that the mycelium cells lose water and the cell protein is denatured, resulting in aging and death. The hyphae gradually turn yellow from the material face down, accompanied by yellow water spitting out, and the culture medium becomes soft. Even if this part is scratched, it is difficult to get out of the ear. So don't overheat during the culture period. Always pay attention to the culture environment and the temperature difference inside and outside the bag, and accurately grasp the mycelium temperature.

Fifth, insufficient ventilation and oxygen supply:

Auricularia auricula is an aerobic fungus, which needs oxygen at all growth stages, especially after the middle stage of culture. At this time, ventilation and oxygen supply should be strengthened, otherwise the mycelium growth is weak, the decomposition ability is poor, the internal energy accumulation is less and easy to aging, and then the bacteria are eliminated. Auricularia auricula in spring often pays attention to heat preservation and raising temperature, ignoring ventilation and oxygen supply, resulting in sterilization.

6. Strain aging:

Practice has proved that the strain should be expanded within one month after growth, such as the seedling age is more than four months (under non-low temperature preservation environment), although it can germinate after inoculation, but the food is slow and accompanied by disinfection. Therefore, when the strain of Auricularia auricula can not be expanded immediately, it should be placed in a low temperature, light-shielded, dry place to preserve the mycelium vitality, so as to avoid the aging of the strain and cause the bacteria to retreat after expansion.
