The climate is changeable in spring, and all kinds of infectious diseases are high. Therefore, if the chicken is to survive the spring safely, it is very important to do a good job of epidemic prevention. The safety and epidemic prevention of chickens in spring mainly starts from the following aspects:

Chicken epidemic prevention

Strengthen the "three-phase" disinfection: before the chicks enter the house, during the feeding period, after the sale of chickens.

Before entering the house, the chicken coop and utensils should be strictly washed and disinfected (the house should be disinfected repeatedly for more than 3 times). During the feeding period, master three main points: 1. There is a disinfection pool at the entrance of the chicken house, and the disinfectant is often changed. Before feeding the chicken, change the overalls, and pay attention to the disinfection of hands and shoes. two。 Usually regular disinfection inside and outside the chicken house, generally once a week in winter and spring, when the chicken flock is sick, increase the number of disinfection. 3. After selling the chicken, clean up the chicken droppings inside and outside the chicken house in time, and thoroughly clean, wash and disinfect the environment and utensils inside and outside the chicken house.

Correct vaccination:

1. The variety of vaccine should be consistent with the age of chickens; all kinds of vaccination methods have strict regulations and should be done in accordance with the instructions. two。 Pay attention to the storage of vaccines. 3. The vaccine should be diluted with special diluent or distilled water, and the diluted vaccine should be used up within a specified time. 4. Every chicken should be vaccinated; do not spray and disinfect drinking water 24 hours before and after eye and nose drops vaccination.

Strengthen the control of the environment:

1. Temperature management: a comfortable environment can not only maximize the productivity of chickens, but also reduce the incidence of diseases and achieve maximum benefits. The suitable temperature can increase the feed conversion rate. The method of judging whether the temperature is suitable or not:

⑴ hung the thermometer at the same height as the chicken to measure the temperature. It was generally 35 ℃ ~ 36 ℃ in the first week of brooding in spring, and then decreased by 2 ℃ per week. According to the chicken reaction, ⑵ judged that when the temperature was too low, the chicken screamed and gathered in the pile; when the temperature was too high, the chicken dispersed and gasped; when the temperature was appropriate, the chicken distributed evenly.

two。 Gas management: the fresh air in the chicken house can avoid the occurrence of respiratory diseases. A large number of harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide will be produced when the coal stove is used to increase temperature, so ventilation should be carried out without reducing the normal room temperature to reduce the content of harmful gases and dust in the chicken house.

3. Humidity management: broilers should pay special attention to the dryness and cleanliness of bedding. The relative humidity in the house is 60 ℃ ~ 70%. During the brooding period, it is best to use straw as bedding material to increase the temperature; in the middle and big chicken stage, when the temperature is lower than 18 ℃, the bedding material should be thickened to increase the temperature.

4. Density management: excessive feeding density results in unbalanced growth of chickens and an increase of harmful gases in the air, especially when the humidity is high, chickens are easy to be infected with colibacillosis, coccidiosis, staphylococcosis and so on, and the epidemic of the disease can be accelerated. Therefore, it is necessary to control the breeding density of broilers, about 10 per square meter.

5. Avoid stress: reduce stress response. Noise, herding, vaccination, weather mutation and beak breaking are all bad stimuli to chickens, which can often cause disease. during the period of feeding, avoid unnecessary catching and disturbance as far as possible, and before changing groups, vaccination and beak severing, anti-stress drugs are given to prevent and deal with cold stress caused by temperature drop.
