Disinfection with chicken spray

1. Clean up before spraying: the henhouse cleans frequently and removes feces, dirt and dust in time, so as not to affect the quality of disinfection.

2. Select suitable disinfectants: disinfectants with broad spectrum, high efficiency, innocuity, low irritation, low corrosiveness and high adhesion are generally selected into three categories: surfactants (such as permethrin), iodine preparations and chlorine preparations.

3. Scientific preparation of disinfectant: prepare disinfectant, preferably diluted with tap water. When diluting, it should be uniform and be used with it. If well water is used, an appropriate amount of water quality softener should be added or the concentration of disinfectant should be increased appropriately. The dilution temperature should be appropriate to prevent the chicken from catching cold due to spray.

4. Correct disinfection method: before spray disinfection, doors and windows should be closed in advance to improve the temperature and humidity of the henhouse, starting from one end of the henhouse and moving to the other end while spraying. The fog particle diameter of the aerosol generator is more than 50 microns. When spraying, the sprinkler should go up to make the liquid fall slowly. Spray evenly on all items in the chicken coop to the extent that the floor, walls and roof are evenly moist and the chicken table is slightly wet. When disinfecting, the action should be light and the voice should be low, so as not to frighten the chickens.

5, the appropriate amount of spray: spray generally 15 ml per cubic meter of liquid, summer can be more appropriate. Excessive amount of disinfectant not only causes waste of disinfectant, but also after high humidity, especially in winter, it will affect the heat preservation of chicken house and easily cause disease; if the amount is too small, it will not achieve the goal.

6. Proper ventilation: after spraying, the window should be opened for ventilation to make it dry as soon as possible. In the hot summer, ventilation can also relieve the stifling heat in the house. On the contrary, window ventilation should be avoided in winter.

7, pay attention to heat preservation: the chicken house should maintain a certain temperature, especially when raising chicks, the temperature should be increased by 4 ℃ than usual, and the cold and dampness should be expelled in time to prevent chicks from being cold and crushed to death.

8, disinfection times: under normal circumstances, spray disinfection 1-2 times a week, such as chickens with infectious diseases, should appropriately increase the number of disinfection. Spray disinfection had better choose the noon with higher temperature. In addition, chickens should be suspended for spray disinfection within three days before and after vaccination to prevent immune failure.

9. Disinfectants are used alternately: although the pathogenic microorganisms in the chicken house are not easy to produce resistance to disinfectants, the killing rate will decrease when disinfectants are used alone for a long time. Therefore, all kinds of disinfectants should be used alternately, preferably once a month.
