It is hot and cold in spring, and cows are prone to colds. Sick dairy cows, milk production decreased, milk quality decreased, should be treated in time.

Clinical symptoms: cow colds are characterized by depression of spirit, occasional tears, runny nose, dry nose, loss of appetite or even abstinence, rare or not ruminating, and elevated body temperature, up to 40 ℃.

Western medicine therapy:

Cows with early discovery, mild illness and good health can be cured with 30% analgin or antongding 20 Mel 60 ml intramuscular injection 3 times a day for two consecutive days. In order to prevent secondary infection, penicillin 400-6.4 million units and streptomycin 2 million units can be added in each injection. Drug injection should be carried out after milking.

Cows with late discovery, severe illness and poor health can be injected intravenously with sugar saline (i.e. 5% glucose and sodium chloride injection) 500 Mel 1500 ml, penicillin 800-12 million units, streptomycin 4 million units, vitamin C2-4 grams and 10% sodium coffee 10 Mel 30 mg.

Traditional Chinese medicine therapy:

Take 30 grams of ephedra, 25 grams of cassia twig, Poria cocos, Bupleurum, Phellodendron chinense, Forsythia suspensa, Fructus Euphorbiae, 20 grams of Fangfeng, Polygala, Platycodon grandiflorum, 50 grams of honeysuckle and 50 grams of ginger, water frying and irrigation service, once a day for 3 days.

In addition, depending on the condition of the cow, on the basis of the above prescription, 30 grams of tangerine peel, almonds and winter flowers are added to the sick cattle with cough symptoms, 30 grams of Trichosanthes kirilowii kernel, 30 grams of Trichosanthes kirilowii kernel, 30 grams of Trichosanthes kirilowii kernels, 30 grams of Fructus Aurantii, 30 grams of dry stool, 60 grams of Codonopsis pilosula and 60 grams of Astragalus membranaceus.
