Rabbits are thin and weak due to lack of forage in spring. if they are not fattened moderately, it will affect rabbit breeding and even lead to thinness and death. There are two common methods for fattening rabbits in spring:

Rabbit

1. Management:

1. Reasonable density: the exercise of fattening rabbits is restricted, so in practice, the density should be increased, 6-8 adult rabbits per square meter and 20-30 rabbits per group, which is easy to manage.

2. Male and female grouping: when grouping, it is best to raise male and female rabbits separately, which is beneficial to manage and promote the growth and development of meat rabbits.

3. Weak and strong grouping: in the same group, the body weight and physique should be equal as far as possible, which is not only conducive to the growth and development of rabbits, but also prevent the struggle of rabbits to a certain extent.

4. gregarious in the same nest: the meat rabbits in the same group should be in the same litter as far as possible, and if they are not in the same litter, the young rabbits of the same age should be selected and herded.

Second, fattening:

1. Each lean rabbit was fed with 7 grams of brown sugar or 5 grams of white sugar (dissolved in warm boiling water and mixed with feed) for 10 days for 15 days.

2. 50 grams of cinnamon, 25 grams of ginger powder, 10 grams of ferrous sulfate and 10 grams of licorice, 9 grams of star anise. Each rabbit was fed 2 grams each time, once a day.

3. Soybean powder 6% (fennel powder 7%), fennel powder 7%, ferrous sulfate 8%, licorice powder 9%, dried ginger powder 20%, cinnamon powder 50%, mix fully, mix into the material, and add appropriate amount of water to mix well, each rabbit is fed 3 grams a day, once every other day, 15 days later, the weight gain is obvious, the average daily weight gain is 35-50 grams.

4. Take 5 grams each of Leiwan, tangerine peel, Magnolia officinalis and Cyperus officinalis, and 12 grams of Hawthorn. Mix them into the feed or take them directly to the water, once a day for 3 ~ 5 days.

5. Feed the rabbits with the compound additive of "promoting the growth of rabbits" and mix it directly into the feed. Feeding once every other day for 5 times can significantly increase the fat of rabbits.
