There are many ways to keep warm. You can set up an incubator in the production column, put an insulation board or infrared light bulb (usually 40 to 50 centimeters away from the column), and spread cushions such as bedding grass, sacks or sawdust where the piglet sleeps to avoid sleeping on the floor. When there is bedding, the temperature requirement of piglets is 2 to 3 degrees lower than that without padding. Piglets are very sensitive to piercing wind, and even a slight piercing wind will significantly reduce the heat preservation effect on piglets. In order to ensure the effect of heat preservation, there can be no wind in the delivery house. Therefore, the delivery house had better be in an airtight form, ventilated with an exhaust fan. When ventilated, the airflow can not be blown directly to the piglet.
