Attention should be paid to strengthening management of chickens in orchards

Chicken house should be built in the leeward sunny flat, sitting north to south, so that can keep warm wind, no water leakage. Sandy loam is the best soil for stocking in orchards, and clay soil is best to set up several sand ponds in stocking areas. The slope of the stocking site should not be too large. It is best to have clean water near the breeding site. If there is no clean water, a drinking fountain can be placed at certain intervals in the orchard to make the chickens have sufficient drinking water. The chicken house shall be cleaned once a day to remove feces and do a good job in daily sanitation and disinfection. Feeding during stocking period should follow the principle of "early less, late moderate", while considering the characteristics of poor foraging ability of young chickens, feed as appropriate.
