The physiological characteristics of hens determine that the ideal ambient temperature of laying hens is 18 to 23 degrees, and the production performance is the best in this range. When the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, the feed intake of laying hens decreases, the amount of water consumed increases, the feces become thinner, the eggs become thinner, the eggs become thinner and the shell becomes thinner, and the egg whites become thinner and produce soft-shell eggs. There are more broken eggs. When the temperature exceeds 32 degrees, the egg production decreases obviously, and in severe cases, it can lead to heat stress, open mouth breathing, hunger strike, rising body temperature and death. In order to keep the high yield of laying hens in the high temperature season, the ambient temperature must be controlled to reduce the damage of eggs.
