Generally choose 6 to 9 days of age to perform the operation. There is a small hole of 0.44 cm in the special electric beak breaker. Insert the excised part of the beak into the hole and cut from top to bottom with a hot blade (815 degrees). Contact for 3 seconds and the operation is over. This hot blade can cauterize the beak tissue and no longer grow. The resection site is about 1/2 of the upper and lower beak or 1/3 from the end of the beak to the nostril. When removing, the chicken head should be tilted slightly toward the blade, so that the upper beak is more excised than the lower beak. The length of the broken beak of a rooster is half that of a hen, and only the sharp part of the beak is removed so as not to bleed.
