Generally, when the chicken flock is 2 weeks old or the uniformity of the chicken flock is too poor, the chicken flock is divided into three groups at least according to the standard weight, namely, large, medium and small (or exceeding the standard, reaching the standard and falling short of the standard), and the sick and weak chickens are selected. The three groups were fed scientifically, and the body weight was adjusted by adjusting the feed amount. For large and small groups of chickens, it is best to weigh once every 3 days, put the chickens with standard weight into the middle group, and put the chickens with excessive weight and insufficient weight into the large and small groups respectively, so as to increase the number of chickens in the middle group and improve the uniformity. The flocks should not be too large during the breeding period, especially after 18 weeks of age, when reproductive system development is entering a critical period.
