The feeding density and flock size are directly related to the evenness of chickens. The appropriate density can keep the air in the henhouse fresh, cushion in good condition, reduce stress, prevent pecking and so on. The activity of the flock with high density is restricted, and the growth and development is hindered, which leads to the decrease of evenness; if the density is low, the utilization rate of the house is low. Generally speaking, 300 to 500 chickens are suitable for each flock. The feeding density (per square meter) was 18 to 25 at 0 to 2 weeks of age, 8 to 10 at 3 to 6 weeks of age, 7 to 8 at 7 to 16 weeks of age, and 5 after 16 weeks of age.
