Symptoms: sick chicks eat less or do not eat, necked eyes closed, unwilling to walk, lying down. Forced drive, walk unstable or cross legs step, walk a few steps that fall to the ground, fall to the ground is not easy to turn over. Pulling pale or green loose feces, often due to severe dehydration and septicemia, died 1 to 2 days after onset.

Lesions: young yolk absorption is not good, umbilical inflammation swelling. Hepatomegaly is a distinct feature, with numerous small bleeding spots scattered under the liver capsule. Diffuse small hemorrhage was seen in coronary fat and pancreas. Splenomegaly was purple-black, intestinal catarrhal inflammation or bleeding. Adult ducks often present with peritonitis.

Prevention measures:

Strengthen feeding management, environmental sanitation and daily disinfection.

Treatment:

(1)Penicillin: 50,000 units per kilogram of duck weight intramuscular injection, twice a day, continuous service for 2-3 days;

(2)Compound trimethoprim: 0.04% mixed feed 3. 4 days:

(3)Norfloxacin: 200 grams of norfloxacin is added to 1000 kilograms of feed and fed for 3-4 days.
