First, clinical symptoms. The sick quail is characterized by tears and a runny nose, and in severe cases, inflammation of the inferior sinus leads to eye and facial swelling.

II. Prevention and control measures

1. Prevention should be given priority. Appropriate heat preservation measures should be taken to prevent sudden change of air temperature, disinfect cage in time, strengthen feeding management and enhance the disease resistance of quails.

2. Strictly prevent from spreading. When diseased quail is found, it is necessary to clear the cage immediately for isolation treatment, but it is best to slaughter and incinerate to prevent the spread of the whole population.

3. Treatment. The sick quail was given 100 mg of streptomycin every day, mixed into the drink and fed three times.
