Prospect of developing Meat Rabbit
The first section is the prospect of developing meat rabbit, also known as vegetable rabbit. According to the determination, the lean meat rate of meat rabbit is as high as 70%. The protein in meat reaches 21%; the content of lysine, phospholipid, calcium and vitamin cable is also very high, which is especially suitable for the elderly and children. In foreign countries, rabbit meat is known as "beauty food". The demand for frozen rabbit meat processed by meat rabbits is increasing. It is a traditional bulk export product of our country and is very popular in the international market. In recent years, people only pay attention to the production of fur and fur rabbits, ignoring the feeding of meat rabbits, resulting in a shortage of goods and a rise in prices. Raising meat rabbits has the advantages of low investment, quick results, and does not need too much grain and complex processing equipment, which is the way to increase income and become rich in rural areas. Rabbit breeding is a new breeding industry and an important part of modern animal husbandry. According to their different economic uses, rabbits can be divided into three categories: meat, leather and wool. The meat rabbit started the earliest in our country, and the mass base is also the most extensive. Meat rabbit breeding has developed rapidly in recent years, and it has become a pillar industry in some areas, especially in some poor areas, one of the important ways for farmers to shake off poverty and become rich, and a new growth point for local economic development. it is highly valued by governments at all levels and mass organizations, and is deeply welcomed by farmers. It can be said that vigorously developing the meat rabbit breeding industry is suitable for the national conditions of our country, and it has great potential and far-reaching significance. Due to the progress of science and technology and the improvement of feeding conditions, the production performance of meat rabbits is very high in some developed countries. Generally speaking, about 70 days old can be out of the column, the body weight is more than 2.25 kg, and the feed consumption coefficient is less than 3, that is, for every increase of 1 kg body weight, the feed consumption is less than 3 kg. Female rabbits give birth to more than 50 young rabbits per year, and 90-100 weaning rabbits are provided in one cage (caged rabbits, and several female rabbits occupy one cage position during empty pregnancy and pregnancy). Of course, rabbits need to be provided with appropriate temperature, humidity, ventilation, nutrition and other conditions, and corresponding facilities are needed. Although the advanced technology of developed countries is worthy of our study and reference, we should be based on our national conditions, give full play to our advantages, and find a way for the development of rabbit industry which is suitable for our national conditions. Practice has proved that under the existing conditions in rural areas of our country, grass and roughage are given priority to, and concentrate is taken as a supplement. Through the adoption of matching scientific feeding techniques, commercial rabbits are out of the column at the age of 90 days, with a body weight of 2.25-2.5 kg, and each female rabbit produces 5-6 babies per year. More than 30 weaned rabbits are provided annually. So that farmers, especially those in poor areas, can make a profit of 200-300 yuan a year by raising three basic female rabbits in their spare time and through hard work. Each family raised 30 basic female rabbits to shake off poverty and become rich that year. The prospect of vigorously developing meat rabbit breeding industry in our country is broad. This is because: first, the meat rabbit diet is mainly grass, which is a typical grain-saving herbivorous domestic animal. Although the rabbit is a monogastric animal and has no rumen for digesting crude fiber such as cattle and sheep, it has a well-developed cecum. There is a microbial system that can decompose crude cellulose, and its function is similar to that of compound rumen animals. Therefore, rabbits belong to monogastric herbivorous livestock. In the family of rabbits, meat rabbits have the strongest tolerance to rough feeding. According to statistics, the average proportion of raw food in meat rabbit feed formula is 23%, and that of pigs and poultry is about 60%. The results showed that the weight of rabbit meat was 5 times that of beef when the same amount of feed was fed to meat rabbits and beef cattle. In other words, meat rabbits are more efficient at converting grass into products than herbivorous livestock such as cattle and sheep. This is of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for China, which is relatively short of food and rich in forage resources, to vigorously develop the meat rabbit breeding industry. Second, multiple births and high yield, short feeding cycle, high meat yield, early sexual maturity, about 3-4 months, generally 6 months of initial mating, pregnancy period 1 month, the average number of offspring is 7-8, postpartum estrus can be mated, more than 6 babies can be born a year. The young rabbits grow fast and can reach 2.5 kg in about 60 days after weaning after one month of weaning. A female rabbit can get 35-40 offspring in a year, which is equivalent to 20-25 times the weight of the female rabbit. However, the number of cattle and sheep is only 0.35-0.63 times. At present, other livestock can hardly be compared with meat rabbits. Therefore, the development of meat rabbit breeding industry is an important way to solve people's meat sources and enrich people's vegetable baskets. Third, the investment is small, the effect is quick, the income is big, compared with other animals, the investment of meat rabbit is small, and the input-output ratio is high. For rural families, the investment in raising meat rabbits can be divided into rabbit breeding fees, feed fees, epidemic prevention fees, cage fees and so on. If it is calculated according to raising 2 males, 10 females and 12 for one unit, the input and income are as follows: (1) input 1, seed purchase fee: 40 yuan each for 2.5 kg breeding rabbits, 12 only need 480 yuan. The average utilization period of breeding rabbits was 2.5 years, and the average annual amortization was 192 yuan. 2. Feed fee: each breeding rabbit consumes an average of 125 grams of mixed feed per day (other undernourished parts are supplemented with grass and crop straw). The annual feed consumption is only 45.6 kg, and 12 rabbits consume a total of 547 kg. The feed cost per kilogram was calculated as 1.20 yuan, and the feed fee was 656.4 yuan. The rabbits were weaned for 60 days from 1 month old to 90 days old, and each rabbit consumed about 5 kilograms of feed. Each female rabbit provides an average of 35 commercial rabbits per year, and 10 female rabbits provide commercial rabbits with a total consumption of 1750 kg and a feed cost of 2100 yuan. The feed cost of breeding rabbits and commercial rabbits totaled 2756.4 yuan. 3. Epidemic prevention fee: the annual epidemic prevention fee of breeding rabbits is 3 yuan, and that of commercial rabbits is 1 yuan, totaling 362 yuan. 4. Cage fee: the construction of the cage can use the family's old bricks, stones, adobe, cement and white ash, etc., or it can be welded into a frame with iron bars and made of wire. The investment of each cage is 30 yuan, 12 breeding rabbit cages plus 20 fattening cages, and the capital is 960 yuan. The useful life of the cage is calculated according to 8 years, and the annual depreciation fee is 120 yuan. The total input is: 192yuan + 2756.4 yuan + 362yuan + 120yuan = 3430.4 yuan. (2) income 1. Selling commodity rabbits: there are 350 commercial rabbits per year, each with an average weight of 2.5kg totaling 875kg, with a total income of 5250 yuan according to the national average purchase price of 6 yuan per kilogram in normal years. 2. The treatment fee for breeding rabbits: breeding rabbits need to be eliminated as commercial rabbits after the utilization period, with an average of 4.5kg per rabbit, calculated at 6 yuan per kilogram, 27 yuan per rabbit, 12 rabbits 324 yuan, apportioned to 2.5 years, with an annual average of 129.6 yuan. 3. Rabbit dung: 12 breeding rabbits and 350 commercial rabbits can produce more than 2.5 tons of rabbit dung per ton, which can earn 125 yuan per ton. Total income: 5250 yuan + 129.6 yuan = 5504.6 yuan. (3) gross profit: 5504.6-3430.4 yuan = 2074.2 yuan. According to the above calculation, raising 10 basic female rabbits can make a profit of more than 2074.2 yuan a year, and each female rabbit can make a profit of 207yuan a year. It is difficult to compare with other aquaculture and even other industries. A family of three can make a profit of 6200 yuan a year by raising 30 female rabbits in their spare time. This alone can get rid of poverty and move towards a well-off society. If the meat rabbit is slaughtered for cooked food processing, the skin market sales (usually a piece of rabbit skin 4-7 yuan, winter skin can be as high as 10 yuan), the benefit can be doubled. Fourth, with less land and less labor, every household can raise meat rabbits either indoors or outdoors, on the ground, underground or on the roof. Small-scale family feeding can make use of the courtyard or spare house old house, the general family courtyard, can accommodate the scale of about 30 basic female rabbits. Raising rabbits without heavy manual work can be done by both the elderly and children. Rabbits like to be nocturnal, so there is no contradiction between raising rabbits and farming. Farmers can make use of their spare time without losing their farm work. In this way, we can make the best use of our talents and materials. Fifth, the product quality is high, and the market potential big rabbit meat has the characteristics of "three high and three low". That is, high protein, high lysine, high digestibility and low fat, low cholesterol, low energy, its comprehensive nutritional value is higher than other meat, such as pork, beef and chicken (Table 1). Table 1 comparison of nutritional components between rabbit, pig, beef and chicken meat protein (%) 21.015.717.418.6 fat (%) 8.026.725.14.9 lysine (%) 9.63.78.08.4 cholesterol (mg / kg) 65012601060690-900 digestibility (%) 85.075.055.050.0 from Table 1, rabbit meat is an ideal meat food, in line with the direction of modern human demand for nutrients. Rabbit meat not only has high nutritional value, its fiber is delicate, and it is easy to be digested and absorbed by the human body after processing, so it is a good nutritional food for the elderly, patients, pregnant women and young children. In addition, often eating rabbit meat is not easy to get fat, can maintain a beautiful posture, but also has a health care effect, and plays a positive role in preventing atherosclerosis, hypertension and heart disease. Therefore, it is called "bodybuilding meat" and "beauty meat" by some western countries, and is deeply loved by people. Many countries have the habit of eating rabbit meat. The vast majority of rabbit meat produced in China is exported, mainly to France, Italy, Japan and so on. But in recent years, some parts of the country have gradually formed a habit of eating rabbit meat. For example, Sichuan Province is the first major province of raising rabbits in China, and most of its rabbit meat is sold domestically. The filament-wound rabbit meat in Guanghan County is famous both at home and abroad, and in some places there, there is even the situation that there is no rabbit without a table. In Jilin, Guangdong and other provinces in China, the consumption of rabbit meat is also large. It can be said that the potential of both the international and domestic markets of rabbit meat is great, and with the development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the domestic consumption of rabbit meat will become larger and larger. Domestic sales will become the main channel of rabbit meat sales. Sixth, by-product development potential rabbit products in addition to rabbit meat and rabbit skin, there are bones, blood, brain, liver, gallbladder, stomach, intestines, eyeballs, testicles and feces, etc., which can be developed and used to turn waste into treasure. Rabbit blood, brain, liver, gallbladder, eyeball, thymus and embryo rabbit are the raw materials of pharmaceutical industry, which can be processed into hematoporphyrin, serum protein, pepsin, cephalin, cholesterol and so on. According to research, the efficacy of rabbit bile is similar to that of bear bile, and it is a medicinal resource to be developed. Rabbit bone, rabbit blood and visceral scraps can be processed into animal feed. Rabbit manure is not only a kind of efficient organic fertilizer, but also a kind of feed resource. Rabbit dung is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements, which can not only improve the soil and provide nutrition, but also has the effect of deworming and disease resistance. According to the experiment, using rabbit dung as base fertilizer, there are few underground pests, and the occurrence of aphids is relatively light. Dried rabbit dung contains 13.4% crude protein, 1.59% crude fat, 20.79% crude fiber, 1.99% calcium, 1.4% phosphorus, 8% carbohydrates, niacin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin, vitamin B12 and other vitamins, which can be used as animal feed. According to the experiment, rabbit manure can be used to feed pigs, fish, cattle and sheep after fermentation, which can greatly reduce the feed cost and improve the efficiency of breeding. 7. To solve the contradiction between forest and animal husbandry and protect the ecological balance, the so-called contradiction between forest and animal husbandry is mainly the contradiction between raising sheep and planting trees. For a long time, this problem has not been well solved. Especially in the mountainous areas, this contradiction is very acute. The damage caused by sheep to the vegetation of the mountain farm is shocking. Therefore, some people say that raising sheep cannot plant trees, and planting trees cannot raise sheep. Mountain areas are rich in forage resources and have advantageous conditions for the development of herbivorous livestock. People in mountainous areas need to develop animal husbandry when they become rich, while rabbits are house-feeding animals. The development of rabbit farming can not only make full use of the forage resources of the mountain farm, but also solve the contradiction between forest and animal husbandry; it can not only increase the income of farmers, but also provide high-quality organic fertilizer for agriculture and forestry to promote each other and develop together. -- it doesn't make much money to analyze professional farming like this.-- Rabbit farming is a new breeding industry. It's an important part of modern animal husbandry-I appreciate these projects. The development of herbivorous livestock is our direction. The key is the market. People's eating habits can't change so fast.
