How to improve the laying rate of pheasant with great benefit in mountain egg market
Pheasant, also known as pheasant, pheasant, set meat, medicine, ornamental as one, rapid growth and development, strong disease resistance. How to improve the laying rate of pheasant is the most concerned problem for many farmers. Xindian pheasant farm in Xinye County, Henan Province has explored a set of successful experiences to improve the laying rate of pheasant through several years of practical experience, which is introduced as follows:
Pheasant laying period
First, do a good job in epidemic prevention. In the process of breeding, keeping pheasants in a healthy state can improve the laying rate. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the enclosure clean and disinfect it with 0.1% permethrin or carbendazim twice a week in addition to regular cleaning every day. Disinfectant can be sprayed on pheasants. Wash the trough and sink with reddish potassium permanganate water once a day. The main epidemic diseases of pheasant during laying period are white dysentery, Escherichia coli and so on. Penicillin can be used for prevention and treatment, which is cheap, safe and easy to use. A dose of 800000 units of penicillin can provide one epidemic prevention for 80 chickens. Mix penicillin into drinking water and give it to pheasants, usually once a week. It can also prevent colds.
Second, select and breed improved varieties. The laying rate of pheasant is closely related to the quality of breeder. The female pheasant is required to be physically strong, weighing 1 Mel 1.5 kg, well-proportioned, well-developed, gentle, lively and active, with a bright red beard and bright eyes. The male pheasant is symmetrical, well-developed, well-developed chest muscle, bright red crown, long and bright crow, plump feathers, majestic posture and strong mating ability.
Third, the ratio of male to female. The reasonable matching of male and female is an important measure to reduce the feeding cost and prolong the laying period. There are too many cocks, one is a waste of feed, the other is that cocks are often injured in fights for mates, and hens are also difficult to accept frequent mating, which affects egg laying. Too few cocks will reduce the fertilization rate of breeding eggs. Generally, the ratio of male to female is 1 / 3 / 1 / 4.
Fourth, scientific ingredients. The pheasant during the laying period should have a comprehensive nutritional composition, with a metabolic energy of 2700 Mel 2750 kcal, a crude protein of more than 23%, and a complete range of essential amino acids. The feed formula for this period is as follows: corn 50%, bean cake 15%, wheat bran 17%, sorghum 6.5%, fish meal 8%, shell meal 2%, bone meal 1%, salt 0.5%, plus 0.5% additive and 50 g methionine per 100 jin feed. The egg-laying comprehensive drop vaccine was injected once every two months.
Fifth, the temperature is suitable. Although pheasants will not freeze to death at-20 ℃, the temperature below 5 ℃ will affect the laying and normal growth of pheasants. In order to make pheasants lay more eggs and improve efficiency, heating measures should be taken when the temperature is below 5 ℃, such as plastic greenhouse and coal fire, and deal with the relationship between heat preservation and ventilation.
6. Feeding and management. Regular water supply and food supply, maintain clean and adequate drinking water, and careful observation, find diseases, timely isolation, drug treatment. Clean the enclosure every day and try to keep the chicken coop dry and clean. Raise no more than 5 pheasants per square meter, and replenish the light on time, 3 murals 4 hours a day, and 4 watts of light bulbs per square meter.
