The furunculosis of crucian carp is caused by Aeromonas punctata. In the early stage of the disease, the skin and tissue on the back of crucian carp became inflamed. With the development of the disease, pustules appeared in the tissue of the inflamed site, the affected part was inflamed and swollen, and the hands felt soft and swollen. The pustule is filled with pus. The skin and muscles around the pustules are also inflamed and congested, and in severe cases, the intestines are also congested. The fin is split and the base of the fin is congested. The disease has no obvious epidemic season and can occur all the year round. Crucian carp infected with furunculosis can be treated with a combination of external disinfectants and internal antibiotics.

Crucian carp culture

(1) sprinkle disinfectant externally. Sprinkle 0.3 grams of chlorine dioxide or dibromohydantoin per cubic meter of water in the whole pool for 3 to 5 consecutive days; if the condition is serious, the dose will be doubled on the first day. After one course of treatment, every 2 days, sprinkle with 15 kilograms of raw lime pulp per mu of water, or 2 grams of bleach and water per cubic meter of water. When the water quality is more fertile, sprinkle it in the whole pool with 15 millimeters of glutaraldehyde per mu and add water for 3 days; when the water quality is thin, sprinkle 0.3 grams of strong chlorine (including 40% trichloroisocyanuric acid 40% 50%) per cubic meter of water and sprinkle it with water for 3 days.

(2) taking antimicrobials internally. Every 100 kg crucian carp were fed with 1g / 100kg of multivitamins, 2g / kg norfloxacin and 5kg / kg of norfloxacin, twice a day for 3kg / d, or 5kg / 100kg of crucian carp with 5kg 10g of Sanhuang powder and 10g / 100kg of sulfadiazine, twice a day for 3 days. Or every 100 kilograms of crucian carp with allicin 20 30 grams, 5 grams of sulfamethoxazole mixed with 5 kilograms of feed, twice a day for 3 days.

To prevent furunculosis of crucian carp, do the following two points:

(1) do a good job of clearing and disinfecting ponds. Clean the pond with 150kg / mu quicklime with water or 100kg / mu with 150 kg quicklime. In addition to disinfection, ponds that have had furunculosis should be exposed to the sun for 10 or 15 days.

(2) shorten the transportation time of fish species or adults to be released as much as possible, reduce mechanical damage, and prevent sick or injured crucian carp fingerling or adults from going into the pond. Fish species or adult fish should be sterilized, generally soaked in 20 mg / L potassium permanganate solution for 20 minutes, or soaked in 3%-5% salt solution for 15-20 minutes before release.
