According to local practice, the use of germinated feed (i.e. germinated grain, hereinafter referred to as grain sprout) to feed fish, not only rich nutrition, good palatability, fat gain, etc., but also significantly improve the quality of fish meat, tender meat, sweet fragrance, delicious. In addition, rice sprout feeding fish can also alleviate the contradiction between concentrate feed and green feed shortage, and rich raw materials, feeding convenient, worthy of promotion.

1. Benefits of feeding fish with rice sprouts:

After germination, the original nutritional structure and value of grain were significantly improved and improved, and it became a good feed for supplementing fish vitamins. The results showed that: fish culture with millet sprouts can promote the transformation and metabolism of nutrients in fish, enhance skin antibacterial power, especially for carp, bream, grass carp and other feeding fish prenatal breeding has an important role, can improve the spawning rate, fertilization rate, survival rate. The type of vitamins in the grain sprouts varies with the length of the sprouts. Therefore, feeding should be specific according to needs. When the bud length is 0.5-1 cm, the vitamin E content is high, which is suitable for prenatal breeding of parent fish. For male fish, it can improve semen quality, for female fish, it can promote egg development and improve egg fertilization rate. Bud length 2-3 cm, rich in vitamin B, can stimulate appetite, help digestion, suitable for breeding adult fish. When bud length is 3-10 cm, vitamin A accounts for a large proportion, which plays an important role in fish growth and disease resistance. It is a good bait for breeding adult fish, parent fish and reserve parent fish. Use cereal bud pisciculture, general 3-4 kilograms cereal bud grows 1 kilogram fish. Rice sprout can be used as bait to feed fish directly, or as vitamin additive to be used in combination with other bait to improve the utilization rate of bait.

II. Production method of rice sprout:

The raw materials used as grain sprout feed in production include the seeds of barley, oat, rice, corn and other cereal crops, among which barley and wheat are the most commonly used. The method of making millet sprout is basically similar to that of raw bean sprout and soaking seed for germination. The method comprises the following steps of: screening and removing impurities of raw materials, washing in warm water, drying, soaking in water at 20-25 DEG C, wrapping with sacks, gauze and the like after sufficient moisture is absorbed, germinating, spraying warm water at about 30 DEG C for 4-6 times every day and night, and properly stirring. 2-3 After days, when the raw material seeds grow hair roots and embryos, the gauze and gunny bags can be removed, and clean warm water is sprinkled every morning and evening. 3-5 After the day, the sprouts grow out and can be fed as needed.

III. Feeding technology of rice sprouts:

Feeding objects: There are many fish that like to eat grain sprouts, such as grass carp, carp, bream, etc. Therefore, these fish are the main ones. But according to anatomy found that green, silver carp, bighead carp also eat millet sprouts. (2) Feeding time: The feeding time of grain sprouts is long, from late April to early November. (3) Feeding "three fixed": in order to improve the utilization rate of grain sprouts, feeding must be fixed, timed and quantitative. The daily feeding rate is generally 5% of the total weight of fish. (4) Reduce waste: In order to prevent feeding too little or too much, check the intake situation 4 hours after feeding rice sprouts at the beginning of feeding. If there is no residual grain sprout in the food field, the dosage should be increased appropriately. If there are more sprouts left in the food field, the dosage should be reduced. If only a small amount of grain sprouts are seen, it indicates that the dosage is basically appropriate.
