The main reasons for poor coloring of tomato fruits are as follows:

Inappropriate temperature is the main reason for poor coloring of tomato fruit.

Tomatoes like cold and dry climate, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the lower the night temperature is, the earlier the flower bud differentiation is, and the lower the position of the first inflorescence is, the more flowers are. The temperature requirement of tomato varies with each growth stage. The optimum temperature during germination period is 28-30 ℃. It is not easy for tomato to germinate when it is lower than 10 ℃ or higher than 40 ℃. The suitable flowering period is 15-30 ℃, which is lower than 15 ℃ or higher than 35 ℃, and the flower organ is dysplastic, which affects the fruit. The fruit coloring was the best when the temperature was 18 ℃ ~ 26 ℃. When the daily temperature was higher than 32 ℃, the fruit grew and matured quickly, and the lycopene formation was blocked, which affected the coloring. When the temperature is too low, the fruit coloring will be seriously affected. At present, if the heat preservation effect of the greenhouse is not good, the fruit coloring can not be normal when the greenhouse temperature is lower than 12 ℃.

Improper management of fertilizer and water will also affect the normal color conversion of fruits.

In the case of planting and watering, the first ear is generally not fertilized or watered before sitting. If the soil is too dry, it can be watered in the morning on a sunny day. Topdressing and watering should be carried out in the morning on a sunny day, after watering, the shed should be closed to raise temperature, and the air volume should be increased when the temperature rises. When the fruit of the second ear is expanded, the amount of fertilizer is the same as that of the first time. Tomato fruit expansion period every 7 to 10 days watering, the amount of water should be uniform.

Wipe the greenhouse film and remove the old and diseased leaves in time

When the tomato fruit is basically long enough, the lower leaves can be removed, and the diseased leaves should also be removed in time to increase its ventilation and light transmittance and promote the normal coloring of the fruit.

According to the analysis of the above reasons, the agricultural management can be strengthened accordingly to create good environmental conditions for the normal coloring of tomatoes. After entering the cold winter, tomatoes can not turn red for a long time because the temperature can not meet the requirements of lycopene production. Medicament to promote red before picking is an effective measure to promote tomato listing in advance. However, in the actual process of promoting red, the growth of plants is often inhibited due to improper treatment, and some drug damage occurs.

Therefore, the following problems should be paid attention to when using medicament to promote red:

(1) it is not appropriate to promote red too early. Generally speaking, the red effect is best when the fruit is fully grown. If the fruit is still in the green ripening stage and does not fully grow up, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of uneven coloring if it is eager to promote red.

(2) the concentration of the agent should not be too high. Tomatoes mostly use 40% ethephon, add 4 kg of water for every 50 ml of ethephon, mix well and use. If the concentration of the solution is too high, it will damage the leaves at the base of the plant, make the leaves yellow and produce obvious symptoms of drug damage.

(3) the number of red fruits per plant should not be too large. The red fruit of a single plant is generally 1 or 2 at a time. Because there are too many red fruits in a single plant, it is easy to cause drug damage when the plant is given too much medicine.

(4) the liquid should not be contaminated with leaves. If the liquid contaminates the leaves, it will cause the leaves to yellowing and withering. The specific way to promote redness is: dip in the medicine solution with a small piece of sponge and smear the surface of the fruit; you can also wear cotton gloves dipped in the medicine solution to smear the fruit surface.
