Green pepper likes temperature, water, fertilizer and high temperature, easy to get sick, waterlogged easy to die seedlings, fat and easy to burn roots. Green pepper has different management requirements in different stages, which is divided into four stages.
Green pepper watering
1. Seedling management:
After green pepper planting, the early soil temperature is low and the root absorption capacity is weak, so we should "promote small control", that is, shallow watering, early topdressing, diligent ploughing, squatting seedlings. After planting water, when it is dry and wet, ploughing and loosening the soil should be done in time to increase soil temperature and promote root growth. After 8-10 days, the second water was irrigated, and deep ploughing (about 7cm) was carried out, slightly shallower near the root and deeper in the distance, in order to increase soil permeability and soil temperature. If the seedlings turn yellow and the growth is weak, it can be fertilized lightly (combined with the second water). Apply 500kg rotten human feces and urine or 7MUR 8kg urea per mu with water, which is also called controlled seedling fertilizer, so as to slow seedling root early and raise seedlings to grow fast. Squatting seedlings are carried out after the second watering and ploughing, that is, to control moisture to promote the root system to develop in depth, reaching deep roots and luxuriant leaves, so that too much water and fertilizer can easily lead to overgrowth and reduce the fruit setting rate. The squatting seedling period is about one week.
In recent years, the yield of green pepper has been reduced year after year, and the squatting seedling stage is also a reason. Green pepper flowering and fruit setting is related to air humidity, so timely watering after the end of squatting seedlings can not only increase soil moisture, but also increase field air humidity, which is beneficial to flowering and fruit setting. When the first layer of green pepper grows to the size of broad bean, the stems, leaves and flowers and fruits will grow at the same time. It is necessary to water and fertilize in time, apply 500ml / mu 1000 kg mature human feces and urine or (available) urea 10ml / mu 15kg, together with some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, to make the seedlings healthy and prevent falling flowers and fruits. When the land is white after fertilization, ploughing in time to improve soil permeability and improve soil fertilizer conservation capacity.
2. Management of full fruiting period:
During the full fruit period, the temperature rises, rainfall increases, and diseases and insect pests occur one after another, which is the key period to determine the yield. if the growth is poor in the early stage and poor management in the middle stage, the growth of seedlings will stagnate, virus disease will occur quickly, and the yield of fruit and green pepper will decline rapidly. when serious, the seedlings yellowed and shrunk, and there was almost no yield. In order to prevent premature senility, it is necessary to timely harvest door pepper, timely watering, maintain soil moisture, promote seedlings to attack fruit, and strive to seal ridges before the high temperature season. Before sealing ridges, soil should be cultivated to protect roots and fertilizers should be applied.
3. High temperature and rainy season management:
High surface temperature will inhibit the normal growth of green pepper root system. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the ground moist, watering frequently and gently, that is, the amount of water each time should not be too large, and the watering interval should be short, so as to protect the root system over the summer, so as to restore the growth of green pepper after high temperature and have the second flowering and fruit setting peak.
Green pepper root system is afraid of waterlogging, avoid stagnant water. After several hours of stagnant water in the soil in the rainy season, the root system of green pepper will suffocate, the plant will wilt, and retting root dead seedlings will be formed. Therefore, before the rainy season, it is necessary to dredge the drainage ditch and discharge Rain Water in time. Sudden rain on a sunny day, or sudden sunshine after a long rain, is easy to reduce the soil air and cause wilting of green peppers. Therefore, it is necessary to pour fresh water in time after rain and drain along with pouring, so as to reduce soil moisture, increase soil permeability and prevent root system from weakening.
4. Results slow seedling rejuvenation management in the later stage:
After the high temperature and rainy season, the temperature from August to September is cool and sunshine is sufficient, which is gradually suitable for the growth of green pepper, which is the second peak period of flowering and fruit setting of green pepper, so it is necessary to strengthen fertilizer and water management, promote new branches, more fruit, increase yield in the later stage, topdressing and watering alternately, apply quick-acting chemical fertilizer once after watering two times of fresh water, 1015kg per mu, watering every 7rel for 8 days. It can also be applied with dilute water of rotten manure.
