Due to the influence of various stress factors, such as transport stress, environmental change, feed change and so on, the mental and physiological pressure of new piglets increased, resulting in gastrointestinal dysfunction, endocrine disorders, multiple diarrhea, edema disease and other diseases. finally, dysplasia, slow weight gain, increased mortality and so on.

New piglets

1. Preparation before entering pigs: first of all, it is necessary to understand the background of the piglets purchased, whether there is an epidemic or sub-health state, and whether they have been vaccinated, so as to avoid buying pigs with disease. Secondly, in the process of transportation, we should pay attention to keep out the cold and wind, and drink water or feed a small amount of feed in the middle of long-distance transportation. When weighing and catching pigs, handle them gently to avoid injury to pigs. Before entering the pen, the temperature of the empty house was kept at 20 ℃ ~ 24 ℃, so that the piglets could adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.

2. Grouping and density: in accordance with the principle of similar body weight of piglets, groups avoid excessive differences, resulting in large bullying, strong bullying and weak phenomena. The density should be 1 pig per square meter and 8 pigs per column to avoid excessive density and population size. Prepare enough troughs and sinks or use free feeding troughs and drinking fountains.

3. Avoid stress reaction: drinking water: after pigs enter the fence, drink 15 ℃ ~ 20 ℃ clean warm water, and add electrolytic multi-dimensional, vitamin C and glucose powder to synthesize anti-stress drugs. Feeding: the new pigs should be fed less frequently and gradually, starting to feed 5-6 times a day, 4 times a day after 7 days, regular feeding, and selecting high-grade piglets with comprehensive nutrition and good digestibility. It can reduce the stress caused by feed changes to a minimum and promote the normal development of digestive and immune organs of piglets. Environment: it is necessary to create a warm, dry, clean and comfortable environment for pigs, adjust the temperature in the house, keep the enclosure hygienic and clean, do a good job of ventilation, ensure fresh air in the house, improve the air quality of the pig house, and reduce the concentration of ammonia.

4. Carefully observe the dynamics of pigs: new pigs should do a good job of "three positioning", train piglets to eat, sleep, defecate and urinate, and do a good job in piglet positioning, which will bring good results for future management. It is necessary to observe the spirit, feeding and health of piglets at any time, find abnormalities and solve them in time.

5. Do a good job of immunization: after over-feeding for 5-7 days, the stress state of piglets can be alleviated, and all kinds of vaccinations should be carried out, including classical swine fever, swine erysipelas, porcine lung disease, porcine paratyphoid and so on. If it is known that the other party has been immunized against four kinds of epidemic diseases when buying pigs, it is suggested that the classical swine fever vaccine should be injected again. In addition, depending on the situation, we can increase the immunization projects of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine and swine edema disease vaccine to do a good job in the prevention and treatment of pig disease.
