Microparticle feed can be divided into three kinds: micro-sticky feed, microfilm feed and microencapsulated feed. Micro-sticky feed (micro-bound diet, referred to as MBD) is to crush the feed raw materials, and then mix them according to the nutritional requirements of the seedlings, then add diluted binder, stir and mix well, dry and micro-crush and sieve to make a micro-particle feed with a particle size of 100 ~ 300 μ m (fish larvae generally 50 ~ 150 μ m). Micro-sticky feed uses adhesives to glue the raw materials together to maintain the shape of the bait and its stability in water, facilitate the feeding of fish, shrimp, crabs and other larvae, improve feed utilization efficiency and prevent the deterioration of water quality. The adhesive should have the characteristics of low price, low dosage, non-toxicity, wide source, easy processing, no influence on the absorption and digestion of nutrients by fish, shrimp, crab and other larvae, and has the characteristics of good bonding effect and strong stability in water. The commonly used adhesives are casein, Zein (zein), sodium alginate (alginate), carrageenan (carrageenan), Agar (agar), water bone glue (gelatin) and nylon protein (nylon-protein). Micro-coated diet (MCD) microfilm feed is a kind of feed which is wrapped in microsticky feed with a film, which can improve the stability of the feed in water. The particle size is generally 10 ~ 300 μ m. The components of the film are generally corn gliadin (zein), nylon protein (nylon-protein), lecithin (lecithin) and so on. Microencapsulated feed (micro-encapsulated diet, referred to as MED) is a kind of feed which is made of liquid, colloidal, paste or solid feed materials without adhesive, and the particle size is generally 10 ~ 300 μ m. With different types of coating, the properties of the particles are also different. The stability of this feed in water is mainly maintained by the membrane. The coating components are generally nylon protein (nylon-protein), water bone glue (gelatin), egg protein and so on.
