Technical introduction: because of its wide food appetite, fast growth, strong adaptability, strong disease resistance, good quality and great market potential, it is an excellent variety of popularizing and breeding at present. There are usually two ways of culture: pond culture and cage culture. The main culture in the pond is spotted forktail fish, accounting for 80% of the total production, proper culture of some filter-feeding fish, generally accounting for 20% of the total production. The breeding method can generally produce 400kg of spotted forktail and 100kg of filter-feeding fish per mu, and can make a profit of more than 1500 yuan per mu. Cage culture is a culture method of spotted forktail fish in reservoirs, lakes, rivers and other waters, with a small volume cage of 1 Mel 8 cubic meters. Generally, it can produce 100ml and 150 kg per cubic meter of water.

II. Technical points

1. The main culture in the pond is the spotted fork-tailed marmoset.

(1) the pond condition requires that the pond area is 5mu, the water depth is 1.5mu, the bottom is flat, there is little silt, the water source is sufficient, there is no pollution, and it is convenient for entry and drainage. Every 5 mu of water is equipped with a 1.5 kilowatt aerator.

(2) clear the pond with quicklime or chlorine preparation before stocking. The fish fry should be soaked in potassium permanganate or salt water for 5-10 minutes and the water temperature should be lower than 8 ℃.

(3) the quality, specification and stocking quantity of fish fingerling are neat, physically strong, disease-free and injury-free, the main fish stocking standard is 25mur50g, and the stocking standard of matching fish is more than 50g. The stocking capacity of spotted Forktail carp is 800mur1000 fish / mu and 100 fish (filter feeding fish).

(4) the feed protein content is more than 36% in the early stage (the first 2 months) and not less than 32% in the later stage (2 months later). It is better to feed with pellets. The general daily feeding rate is 3%, and the amount of feed should be flexibly controlled according to water temperature, water quality, climate change, fish weight, etc., and each feeding amount can reach 90% of fish satiety. Feed feeding should achieve "four determinations"

(5) the salary should be increased regularly in the water quality management, and the aerator should be turned on in time to ensure that the pool water contains enough oxygen. From June to August, replace part of the old water and add new water in time every half a month. At the same time, 15 kg / mu of quicklime was applied every 15 days, and the whole pond was sprinkled with chemical pulp to regulate the water quality and prevent fish diseases. In the hot season and rainy weather, we should strictly prevent hypoxia and turn on the aerator in time to replenish the oxygen in the pool water.

(6) the prevention and control of fish disease has many diseases and great harmfulness in pond culture, so the disease prevention and control work is very important. We should give priority to prevention and comprehensive prevention. Parasites are mainly harmful in spring, which can be controlled by drugs such as copper sulfate and formaldehyde, bacteria and viruses are easy to spread in summer and autumn, and drugs such as quicklime and chlorine preparations can be used to control.

2. Spotted forktail mackerel cultured in cages:

(1) Water area selection and cage setting choose reservoirs, lakes, rivers and other waters where the flow is slow and the water depth is more than 3 meters. Cage area is generally 1-8 square meters, mesh 2-3cm is better. The cage is arranged in the shape of "product", which is convenient for water exchange.

(2) the stocking specification, quality and stocking requirements of stocking fish species are the same as those of pond culture. The stocking quantity is generally 200-300 tails / m2.

(3) the nutritional quality requirements and feeding points of feed are the same as those of pond culture.

(4) feeding and management should pay attention to observing the food intake and activities of fish every day, and often sprinkle chlorine preparations around the cage to prevent fish diseases. It was found that the medicine for fish disease was soaked to treat fish disease. Check whether the cage is broken or not every day, and deal with the situation in time. The surroundings of the cage should be washed every three days to facilitate the full exchange of water.
