I county wheat field weeds are divided into broadleaf weeds and grass weeds two categories. Broad-leaved weeds are mainly Artemisia, Shepherd's purse, wheat and cabbage; Gramineae weeds are mainly wild oat, Aegilops tauschii, Puccinellia tenuiflora and Puccinellia tenuiflora. Wild oat and Aegilops tauschii are mainly distributed in Cizhou Town, Jiangwucheng Town, Guanglu Town and Gaoyu Town, while Puccinellia tenuiflora and Puccinellia tenuiflora are mainly distributed in rice area. In recent years, the results of control experiments in our station showed that the corrected control effect of winter control of gramineous weeds in wheat field was more than 80%, and the control effect of spring application was poor. Therefore, it is necessary to vigorously promote winter control of gramineous weeds in wheat field, which not only has small dosage, low cost and good effect, but also can reduce environmental pollution and drift damage. According to the recent investigation by plant protection personnel: weeds in wheat fields have been unearthed for six consecutive years, and most of the grass ages are from one leaf to two leaves. In view of the above situation, agricultural technology stations in townships (towns) shall actively organize villages to mobilize the masses to carry out pre-winter weed control in wheat fields.

Control period: generally master in winter wheat after sowing about a month, wheat 3-4 leaves, weeds 2-3 leaves when the treatment. The suitable control time in our county is from the end of October to November 15. Weeds in wheat field have basically appeared in this period, wheat field coverage is small, grass age is small, sensitive to chemicals, high temperature and good control effect.

Control methods: 1. Serious plots occurred in Aegilops tauschii: 3% Shima (methyldisulfuron) oil suspension 30ml evenly sprayed per mu; 3.6% Kuoshima can also be used per mu.(Methyl disulfuron methyl and methyl iodosulfuron methyl sodium salt) water dispersant 20- 25g uniform spray, and broad-leaved weeds;2, to wild oat-based wheat fields: in addition to the use of Shima or Kuoshima in addition to treatment, but also 6.9% of Puma 60- 70ml mu, 3, in wild oats, Aegilops mixed occurrence plot: in weeds 2-4 leaf period available Shima uniform spray. 4. For rice stubble wheat fields dominated by Puccinellia tenuiflora and Puccinellia tenuiflora, 20g of 15% wheat pole (propynyl-ethyl) wettable powder can be sprayed on each mu for control. 5. Wheat fields dominated by broadleaf weeds: spray 10% tribenuron-methyl 10g per mu for control.

Notes:

When applying medicine, it is necessary to apply medicine strictly according to the prescribed period and dosage, spray evenly, and carry out in windless weather to prevent the liquid medicine from drifting to other crops. Daytime temperature higher than 10℃ best effect, the lowest temperature of medication should not be lower than 4℃.
