Production and application of plastic film net for silkworm

The practice of silkworm farmers in our county shows that using plastic film net to lift silkworm has the advantages of convenient material acquisition, low cost, time-saving and labor-saving, no damage to silkworm body and so on. The manufacture and use of plastic film mesh are introduced as follows:



First, the production of plastic film network requires the use of different plastic film to make two different specifications of the net, namely, juvenile silkworm net and strong silkworm net. Its specifications are: juvenile silkworm net, plastic film length 1 cm 1.1 m, width 0.8 m, pore diameter 6.5 mm, hole spacing 6.5 mm; strong silkworm net, plastic film 1.5 mm 1.6 m long, 1 m wide, pore diameter 12 mm, pore spacing 12 mm. The specific production method is as follows: lay the clean agricultural medium film or thick film (general juvenile silkworm net with middle film, strong silkworm net with thick film) on the cement floor, and then use cylindrical tools such as bicycle pedal tube sleeve to punch holes according to the above specifications. In order to improve work efficiency, several films can be overlapped and placed together to drill holes.



2. before the method of raising silkworms with plastic film net, the first disease prevention powder No. 1 is generally used; then, according to the different age of silkworm, the young or strong silkworm net is spread on the plaque, and some mulberry leaves are scattered on the net. After about 10-15 minutes, after the silkworm climbed from the hole to the film net, the film net was lifted flat by the two people opposite, and the silkworms with leaves were gently poured into the empty silkworm plaque prepared in advance, and picked up individual silkworms missing in the original plaque. According to the test, raising silkworms with thin film net can save the labor of 1 beat, 2 hands, 2 bugs, 3 hands. 

After sericulture is finished, the plastic film net should be cleaned, disinfected and properly kept for reuse in the next sericulture period. The thin film network can be used for 4 years and 5 years.
