Disease name: Lycium barbarum root rot (rot type)

Scientific name: fusarium oxysporum? schlecht

Symptoms and regularity of the disease

Disease symptoms in the field

It was first found in 1973 that the incidence of Lycium barbarum increased year by year in recent years. Lycium barbarum generally began to develop after 2-3 years of planting, and the incidence of 4-5-year-old was generally more than 20%, and tended to decline after 6-7 years. The main symptoms are browning or black decay of the cortex of the root neck or branches, and browning of vascular bundles. The leaf tip is yellow at the beginning, gradually scorched and rolled upwards. When the rotten cortex surrounds the trunk, all the leaves above the diseased part fall off, the trunk dies, and some leaves suddenly wilt and die, and the dead leaves are still hanging on the tree. This phenomenon often occurs in the high temperature season from July to August. It occurs as a block in a stand.

The above types are also often manifested as half of the crown disease, half wilt or only one branch disease and wilt. Some tree trunks die of disease, and new seedlings grow at the neck of the root.

Prevention and control methods:

The main results are as follows: 1. Improve the farming conditions, change the flat soil to cultivate the ridge, reduce the stagnant water in the rhizosphere of Chinese wolfberry stick, and avoid injuring the root during tillage.

2. Irrigate the roots with 50% thiophanate methyl 1000-1500 times or 50% carbendazim 1000-1500 times.
