Every time the sun rises at dawn, a beautiful day begins again! Get up in the morning, look in the mirror and ask yourself, do you want to live an ordinary life or create my incredible? Life is like subtraction, every page is torn off, you can't start all over again, so please live every day, cherish every day, and tomorrow you will thank yourself for your desperation today! The greatest tragedy of life is not death, but living aimlessly!

Black pine bonsai is one of the pine bonsai, its great, vigorous and straight posture and cold enduring, indomitable spirit praised by the world, deeply loved by bonsai lovers, black pine is also known as white bud pine, pine evergreen trees, the height of the tree varies according to the growth environment, the plant growing in the fertile and loose, deep soil layer is as high as tens of meters, while the soil is barren and the environment is poor.

Black pine bark grayish black, scalelike cracked cones conical-ovate, brown after maturity from September to October; winter buds silvery white, cylindrical. Leaves needle-shaped, two needles in a bunch, thick and hard, clustered on short branches, the leaves are hard and thick, the front end is sharp, dark green, shiny. The branches spread horizontally, arranged in a wheel, and the posture is quaint. The crown of black pine is conical when young and flattened when old. Black pine is native to Japan. There are many introduction in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui and other places in China. The monthly management of black pine bonsai is as follows:

January

The black pine is in the dormant period, so it can carry out the operation of flat binding, thinning branches and pulling needles. Except in extremely cold areas, you can spend the winter outdoors. As the winter monsoon is very easy to dry the basin soil, attention should be paid to watering.

February

In the coldest time of the year, black pine is the most suitable for pruning and thinning branches and pulling needles. It can be sprinkled with 30-40 times lime sulfur mixture to prevent insect pests. Spraying lime-sulfur mixture can not only prevent diseases and insect pests but also enhance the tree potential.

March

Spring returns in March, the temperature picks up, and winter buds sprout. Late March is the best time to change pots. When changing the basin, the upright root of the young tree should be cut off, the winding root should be corrected and cut off. When changing pots, the tools are not sharp and the roots are too dry, which can cause damage to the tree.

April

Try to change the basin by mid-April. Do not apply fertilizer for more than ten days after changing the basin, and then there is no harm in getting fat and water. Start fertilizing. Black pine likes water and fertilizer, so it doesn't hurt to apply more. The basin can be rotated once every 3 weeks to receive light evenly.

May

The winter buds have grown into candles. The crown and branch heads of strong trees will be especially stout, but when the buds stop growing and the needles see green, the control medium buds will be cut off with fingers (they may die with scissors).

June

The new buds have grown into needles, and the method of picking buds and short needles is implemented at this time. In addition to the weak and strong buds, cut the buds from the base of the buds, leaving only last year's old needles, about five groups of needles per branch. About 1 Murray will sprout twice after 2 weeks.

July

It is also a good time to pick buds. After sprouting, the water absorption of the tree will be temporarily weakened. At this time, the fertilizer can be removed and fertilized when the secondary buds grow.

August

The secondary buds were retained. Trees with sufficient water and fertilizer will grow secondary buds 2 weeks after picking buds, and some strong branches will produce 5 buds. If left untreated, the branches will grow into clumps and destroy the tree shape.

At this time, tweezers can be used to remove the buds in the upper and lower direction, leaving two buds horizontally. Generally, the upper strong branches leave weak buds and the lower weak branches leave strong buds, so as to balance the tree potential.

September

Pay attention to the high temperature in late autumn and spray water frequently in the evening. The secondary buds are in the period of vigorous growth to ensure sufficient water and fertilizer. The buds with poor growth can be sprayed with foliar fertilizer once a week.

October

The external growth basically ends and turns to internal energy storage for the winter. Ensure an adequate supply of fertilizer and strong branches.

November

At this time, the tree posture and leaf color is the most beautiful of the year, and keep plenty of fertilizer before the end of the month.

Carry on the needle pulling operation. In principle, all the old leaves left when picking buds are removed, the new leaves are seen as weak branches, strong branches remain in 4 groups, weak branches remain in 5 groups, and extra weak branches do not pull out needles.

December

Go into dormancy. The best time for needle pulling and pruning. Pruning and shaping will cause damage to the tree, so pay attention to heat preservation and water conservation after operation. Lime-sulfur mixture can be sprinkled once.
