Trees will bring a sense of serenity, beauty and wilderness to the whole space. If you don't have a very large yard and want to cultivate some landscape trees, you have to choose the right species so that they can grow in flowerpots. We should also pay attention to regular pruning to prevent the plant from growing too tall.

First, choose the right container

To cultivate ornamental trees, you should choose a container with large drainage holes, preferably with a certain weight, to avoid being blown down by the wind after planting trees.

You can add some sawdust, pebbles or broken tiles at the bottom of the container to avoid stagnant water in flowerpots. The size of the container should not exceed twice the volume of the root, otherwise it is easy to cause stagnant water to rot the root.

Second, pay attention to planting

Planting ornamental trees is usually done after the frost is completely over, and the temperature is stable at about 18 degrees, so that the seedlings of ornamental trees can be directly transplanted into new flowerpots to prepare some loose, fertile and well-drained soil. After the ornamental trees are planted, they should be watered thoroughly and placed in a well-ventilated and brightly lit place.

The olive tree itself is a very hardy plant. It can survive for 1000 years. Olive trees planted in flowerpots can not live that long, but they can also be kept for many years. If you grow in cold climates, you can move the olive tree indoors for the winter, put it in a place with bright light by the windowsill, and stay away from heating and air conditioning.

The usual maintenance of olive trees should have about six hours of direct light every day, usually waiting for about 3 to 5 centimeters of soil under the soil surface to dry, and then watering.
