The centipede has strong disease resistance and generally does not get sick, but if it is not raised properly, it will also make the centipede sick. In this paper, the main diseases and control methods of centipede are introduced as follows:

1. Green mildew, also known as green stiff mycosis, is the main disease of cultured centipedes. From the middle of June to the end of August, centipedes are vulnerable to the disease due to high temperature, high humidity and moldy food. In the early stage, the infected centipede mainly appeared small black or green spots on the skin of the joints, and then gradually enlarged; then the body surface lost luster, black spots appeared under the abdomen, loss of appetite, dull action, and finally died of refusing to eat and lose weight. The main cause of the disease is the excessive humidity of the feeding environment or the decay and mildew of the remaining food in the pond.

Prevention and treatment methods: (1) remove moldy food, feed fresh live food, maintain good hygiene in the culture pond, and carry out disinfection and sterilization. (2) adjust the temperature and humidity in the culture pond and keep it ventilated and damp. (3) the centipede can be disinfected with 0.25 grams of penicillin plus 1 kg of water spray or drink with water. (4) 0.6 grams of maternal food, 0.25 grams of oxytetracycline and 0.25 grams of chloramphenicol can be ground into powder. mix well with 400 grams of feed and feed the diseased centipede until the disease is cured.

2. Centipedes with abdominal distension mostly suffer from this disease in the period of overcast, rainy and low temperature after autumn, which is mostly caused by overeating and low temperature. In the early stage, the diseased centipede had a purplish red head, full hook, no or less food, distended abdomen, slow movement, and died about a week after onset.

Prevention and treatment: ("mix well with 1 gram of mother's birth and 500 grams of water, let it suck, and raise the temperature." (2) mix well with 0.5 grams of sulfonamide tablets and add 300 grams of feed; you can also use 0.25 grams of chloramphenicol plus 300 grams of feed and feed every other day until the disease is cured.

3. Shelling disease is caused by fungi parasitic on the body because the centipede habitat is too humid. The initial performance is restless and restless, crawling back and forth, but in the later stage, it is powerless and sluggish, and finally dies because of not eating or moving.

Prevention and treatment methods: 0.25 grams of oxytetracycline, 0.6 grams of food, 1 gram of calcium tablets, a total of fine powder plus 400 grams of feed to stir well, continuous feeding for many days until the disease is cured.

4. the resistance of the centipede during the molting or spawning incubation period is weak, when the ants enter, they will attack in groups, resulting in the molting centipede being bitten to death, or the hatching female centipede abandoning eggs and escaping.

Prevention and control methods: (1) dig a perimeter ditch around the breeding pond and inject water to prevent ants from entering. (2) the ants can be lured away by fruits or other sweets and scalded to death with boiling water.

5. Aborted centipedes are often caused by interference, overturning, noise or direct stimulation of foreign bodies, so they should be kept quiet during pregnancy and should not be turned frequently.

In addition, it is also necessary to prevent mice from swallowing adults, larvae and eggs.
