1. If the native chicken is raised separately, it can lay eggs in about 108-114 days after eating feed. After laying eggs, it will enter the peak period of egg production in 1 to 2 months. If the chicken's constitution is good during the peak period of egg production, there will be no disease. The peak period can be maintained from 3 to 4 months. Generally, it will be eliminated in about 16 months. It can also be determined according to the amount of eggs laid.

II. Physiological characteristics of chicken flock during peak period

1. After the egg production rate reaches 90%, the growth gradually slows down until it reaches the peak of egg production. 2. The laying rate, body weight and egg weight are still increasing, the physiological burden of chickens is large, the anti-stress ability of chickens is reduced, and they are sensitive to changes in the external environment, and conditional diseases such as respiratory tract and Escherichia coli are easy to occur. 3. The antibody consumption is large, so it is necessary to strengthen the supplementary immunity of avian influenza, Newcastle disease and other diseases.
