How do winter quails control room temperature?

Close all the windows to the north and west of the quail house, block the cracks with sand in the walls that have cracks, and hang straw curtains on the doors and windows facing south. In this way, the cold wind can be prevented from invading in winter. When the suitable temperature was 15 ℃ and 25 ℃, the adult quails had a strong appetite and laid more eggs. The laying rate decreased obviously when the temperature was below 15 ℃, and even stopped laying and molted. Therefore, measures should be taken to increase the temperature in severe winter or early spring, cover the cage with thermal insulation objects at night, and appropriately increase the cage density, which can raise 100 animals per square meter. Or raise quails in a double-layer plastic greenhouse (5m / 10cm apart between the two layers of film) in the leeward direction; or you can use three-dimensional multi-layer breeding to build a double-layer quail house, filled with grain hull, cinder, sawdust, etc., and cover with grass curtains to keep warm at night. If there is no special thermal insulation equipment, the top of the cage and the four walls can be covered with film, which can keep room temperature and low cost. Conditional farmers can also purchase air heaters or small electric stoves (500 kilowatts and 800 watts) for heating, which can be started for several hours at night.
