1. Feeding and management of mandarin ducks

The nestling mandarin ducks are sensitive to temperature and like to sleep within 1 ~ 3 days after coming out of the shell, and the temperature should be kept at no less than 30 ℃. The temperature decreased gradually after 3 days. At the same time, we should maintain the light time and intensity, gradually shorten and weaken the light with its growth, eat about 24 hours after coming out of the shell, keep drinking water continuously, and the mandarin duck should not go into the water. Feed can be fed to chickens, ducks, raw rice, noodles and so on.

2. Breeding and management of mandarin ducks

Male and female can be mixed according to 1 ∶ 3, either in captivity, in free range or in free range. It is appropriate to keep 50 to 100 in captivity, and there should be a pool and a suitable activity area in the circle, as well as egg-laying boxes or egg-laying ponds with continuous drinking water. Try to keep the house dry, clean, ventilated and well lit. In terms of feed, concentrate should be fed during the laying period. At the same time, add some inorganic salts and trace elements. During the off-natal period, it can be raised roughly.

III. Feeding and management of young mandarin ducks

The growth rate of mandarin ducks accelerated after 1 month of age, especially from 2 months to 4 months, so it was also the period when the mandarin ducks ate the most and needed to provide full-price feed. If possible, keep the male and female separately. During this period, there are two times of beak feather growth, one is when the tail feather grows at about 1 month old, and the other is when the main wing feather grows after 2 months old, in order to reduce the beak feather, sulfur-containing amino acids and additives for treating beak feather should be added at the age of 20 days. such as feather powder, stop beak ling and so on. Pay attention to breeding density and environmental hygiene, limit light intensity and so on.
