Goat disease is not easy to be found in the initial stage, once there are obvious symptoms and then diagnosis and treatment, the effect is not good. For this reason, by adopting the methods of "six looks", "two checks", "one listen" and "one touch", breeders pay attention to sheep flocks and find sick sheep as soon as possible for treatment, which is an effective way to obtain good economic benefits.

Look at the movements of the sheep. Sheep without disease often gather together regardless of feeding or rest, and often take a half-lying position when they rest. People stand up as soon as they approach. Sick sheep appetite, ruminating loss, grazing often group lying on the ground, the emergence of a variety of abnormal posture.

Second, look at the sheep regurgitating. After 30 minutes of each feeding, the disease-free sheep began to ruminate for 30-40 minutes, 6-8 times a day and night. The ruminating of diseased sheep decreased or stopped.

Look at the wool color. The coat of healthy sheep is neat, shiny and elastic. The coat of the diseased sheep is dishevelled and dull.

Four, look at the sheep's eyes. Healthy sheep eyes are flexible, bright and vivid, clean and moist. The eyes of the sick sheep were listless, sagging and slow to react.

Look at the sheep's ears. The ears of disease-free sheep are often erect and flexible. The head of the sick sheep lowers the earlobe and the ear does not shake.

Six, look at sheep defecating. Disease-free sheep feces are generally small balls and are relatively dry and hard. The well-bred sheep fed with fine feed can be soft clumps and have no peculiar smell. The urine is clear and colorless or slightly yellow, and regularly sick sheep defecate indiscriminately, defecate or sparse or hard, or even stop, the urine is yellow or bloody.

Check the sheep's tongue. The healthy sheep are pink and shiny, the rotation is flexible, and the tongue coating is normal. The tongue of diseased sheep is inflexible and weak, the tongue coating is thin and light, or the tongue coating is thick and rough.

Second, check the mouth. The oral mucosa of the disease-free sheep is light red, it feels mild and warm with the touch of hands, and there is no stench. The mouth of the sick sheep is sometimes hot and cold. The mucous membrane is pale, drooling or flushed, dry and astringent, with a foul smell.

Listen to the sound of sheep. The healthy sheep made a loud and rhythmic cry. The cries of sick sheep often vary, and breathing sounds or coughing sounds can be heard without a stethoscope.

Touch the sheep's horn. The disease-free sheep has cool horns and mild horns. The diseased sheep horn root is too cold or overheated.
