Spring is here again. This season is warm and cold, the temperature is changeable, for the management of pigs, it is also necessary to achieve "spring cover". In addition, a series of ventilation, heat preservation, disinfection and other work should be done.

I. ventilation and heat preservation

1. In case of cooling or rainy and windy weather, it is necessary to quickly heat up the pigsty and add bedding grass.

2, to achieve the "spring cover", grass curtains, plastic film, stoves and other thermal insulation facilities can not be removed too early. Hang the door curtain at any time to check the loopholes in the pigsty and prevent the invasion of thieves.

3. Pay attention to the heat preservation of house pigs and nursery pigs, especially the effective temperature of abdomen.

4. There is a large temperature difference between day and night in the northern region, so it is necessary to adhere to the night patrol system and regulate the enclosure temperature at any time according to the situation of pigs.

5. The closed pig house should set up an air vent 1 meter away from the ground, clean up the feces and ventilate when the temperature is high from 1: 00 p.m. to 3: 00 p.m., and cover the ventilation port of the pig house roof with grass curtain at night.

2. Disinfection inside and outside the pig house

1. Thoroughly remove the weeds and silt from the sewers and defecation ditches around the piggery to prevent the breeding of pathogens and mosquitoes and flies.

2. A disinfection pool is set up at the door of the pig farm, and a disinfection basin is placed at the door of each pig house, with 2%-3% caustic lye or 3%-5% Lysol solution added inside; the entry and exit personnel must be disinfected and the disinfectant solution is added every 2 to 3 days.

3. After thoroughly cleaning the sanitary dead corners inside and outside the pigsty, such as doors and windows, ceilings, walls, pigsty, etc., spray with 2%-3% caustic lye.

4. After thoroughly cleaning the pig feed trough, tray, incubator and other appliances, disinfect them with 3%-5% sur solution, rinse and dry with clean water and set aside.

5. Outsiders and vehicles are prohibited from entering pig farms, especially live and dead pigs, as well as purchasing personnel and vehicles.

6. Breeders should wear special shoes and clothes and go through strict disinfection before entering the pigsty.

7. Pig houses and pig herds advocate fumigation and disinfection with peracetic acid at the concentration of 1, 500, 000 and 1000, which can reduce the concentration of harmful gases.

Third, deworming pigs

1. Choose the broad-spectrum and high-efficiency anthelmintic of ivermectin and fenbendazole.

2. While deworming the pig, it is necessary to remove feces and spray insecticides on the ground in time to avoid secondary infection of parasites.

3. Do the deworming of acariasis alone.

Fourth, strengthen nutrition and improve the resistance of pigs

1. Do not use low-quality and low-cost feed cheaply, otherwise it will lead to malnutrition, poor growth and easy disease in pigs.

2. Pig farmers who use their own ingredients must strictly control the quality of raw materials, especially do not use corn with excessive moisture and mildew. It is recommended that corn be screened to remove impurities before use.

3. Do not change low-quality raw materials or do not prepare feed according to the formula because of the low price of pigs.

4. As the temperature gradually warms up in spring, we should pay attention to the "three precautions" of feed, that is, rain, moisture and mildew, and control the harm of mycotoxins from the source.

5. There is a lack of green feed in early spring, so it is recommended to give sows a proper amount of green and juicy feed, such as green vegetable leaves, carrots and so on.

6. Adding appropriate amount of Chinese herbal medicine and daily condiments to feed to support the positive and dispel evil, which is not only beneficial to the growth of pigs, but also can prevent and cure diseases. Such as honeysuckle, ginger, green onions, garlic, vinegar and so on.

7. Microecological products such as probiotics and zymosaccharides are regularly added to the feed to regulate the gastrointestinal tract, improve the gastrointestinal function of pigs and prevent various diarrheal diseases.
