Scorpions belong to arthropod phylum, arachnida, scorpion order. Nocturnal, carnivorous animals, like to be dry, have the habit of stinging and dormant, the egg is born, the newborn scorpion is often lost to the back of the mother, and begins to live on its own after a molt. The best scorpion species belongs to King Scorpio 9, which breaks the habit of no hibernation. Artificial non-dormant scorpion breeding is a scorpion breeding technique developed and popularized in recent years, that is, it can artificially create conditions to break its dormant overwintering habits, speed up its growth cycle, and improve yield and efficiency.

The choice of scorpion, must choose the king scorpion 9 scorpion species, in order to fundamentally ensure that the scorpion does not hibernate.

(1) Scorpion field

The construction of scorpion farms should imitate the ecological environment of scorpions under natural conditions as far as possible, and choose sites that meet their living habits, conditions for growth and reproduction, and are convenient for feeding and management. The scale of the scorpion farm can be large or small, and attention should be paid to the following points:

The main results are as follows: (1) the topographic environment should choose the slope source zone which is leeward to the sun, high in the north and low in the south. Good drainage, quiet, no pollution.

2) the area should be determined according to the scale of culture.

3) it should be noted that the soil pH value of scorpion field is between 6 and 8, too high and too low are harmful to scorpions, especially young scorpions, which can cause death.

4) equipment: the scorpion farm should be equipped with drinking water, feeding, disinfection, separate feeding, capture and other equipment, especially heating and humidification equipment. Can be heated with ordinary Kang, soil heating, electric heating and other equipment, can also take solar greenhouse breeding; humidification equipment can use small sprayers or medium-sized pesticide sprayers, such as the use of electronic humidifier, then every 40 square meters of environment configuration.

(2) Environmental factors

The two factors that have the greatest influence on artificial non-dormant scorpion are temperature and humidity. Temperature can break the dormancy habit of scorpion and shorten its growth, development and metamorphosis. Therefore, the temperature of artificial non-dormant scorpion should be controlled at 25: 38 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 15 ℃, the scorpion begins to enter the dormancy period, the water loss is serious at 40 ℃ and 42 ℃, and a large number of scorpions will die when it is higher than 43 ℃. Scorpion likes tide and is afraid of humidity, and has strict requirements on ambient temperature. when the air relative humidity is 45% and 60%, it is most suitable for scorpion growth. In the actual breeding, the humidity of the scorpion's nest is 15%-18%, and the activity place is 65%-75%. High temperature and low humidity and high temperature and high humidity will cause the death of scorpion.

(3) Feed

Mainly live, soft and succulent insects and small animals, such as yellow powder insects, sterile fly maggots, earthworms, as well as rabbit meat, rat meat, beef, mutton and other animal foods, sometimes eat fruit feed. The amount of feed should be controlled after feeding scorpion for one day and night, and there is a little surplus. Feed is put in before dusk every day, and the remaining feed is cleared and the feeding equipment is cleaned the next morning. Timely and appropriate water supply is also an important link when putting feed, and special attention should be paid to water quality and water supply.

(4) Daily management

Scorpions are timid by nature, and their habitats like to be clean, afraid of microbial infection, and eat each other, so scorpion breeding should pay attention to keeping the scorpion field quiet and noise-free, especially during the pregnancy and metamorphosis of female scorpions. Pregnant scorpions and scorpions of different ages should manage feeding separately to avoid chelating and cannibalism. It is also necessary to maintain the hygiene of the scorpion field and prevent infection and disease. Under normal circumstances, scorpions are less sick, but we should pay attention to gas poisoning and indoor anoxia when heating with a stove in winter, and prevent the harm of rats, geckos and ants to scorpions.

(5) simple processing technology

When the scorpion grows to 15 grams and 20 grams, it is an adult scorpion. If it cannot be sold in time, simple processing should be done. The methods are:

(1) Salt scorpion: put the scorpion in a cold water basin before processing to wash the soil and feces. The scorpion was soaked for 7 hours with 100g / kg of salt, 5000 g of water and soaked for 7 hours to make it spit out the dirt in its belly and filter out the water. Boil 20%-30% salt water, boil the scorpion for 20 minutes, put it on a straw mat and dry in the shade, avoid the sun to affect the quality of scorpion products.

(2) clear water scorpion: after washing the scorpion in clean water, remove the scorpion and boil it in 5%-8% salt water for 20 minutes. During storage, attention should be paid to moistureproof, moth-eating and rat bites; high-quality commodity scorpions should keep their color yellow, limbs intact and torso free of impurities, and the final packaging and sealing should be sold to the medicine department in time.
