1. Strengthen ventilation and forced ventilation

2. Use the cement feeding table in the enclosure to spray and cool down.

3. The cushion material will be thinned by 20 cm in summer.

4. Three types of areas are formed in the cushion area: fecal area (also fermentation concentration area), water vapor evaporation area and pig rest area.

5. Use the enclosure we designed to give the pig water bath.

6. add some measures to the pigsty with good conditions (negative pressure ventilation, dripping, water curtain, etc.)

7. Turn the cushion as little as possible in summer

When using fermentation bed technology to raise pigs in summer, we should pay attention to the following points:

1. In order to be free of mosquitoes and flies and odor in summer, high efficiency oxygen consumption fermentation or deep bed anaerobic fermentation can be used for fecal treatment. The temperature of fermentation bed can reach 40-50 degrees, which can kill bacteria and pests in feces and make it clean and hygienic.

2. If there are maggots in the fermentation bed, the feces where maggots exist should be buried 30-40 cm in time. The maggots will disappear within half a day to one day after high temperature fermentation.

3. If there are flies in the enclosure, use artificial conventional methods to deal with them, such as fly board, fly-killing lamp, etc.

4. Use screen windows to prevent flies from flying to the enclosure.

5. The feeding table in the pigsty and the feed trough should be cleaned and cleaned in time.

Criteria for testing the success of a fermentation bed:

1. The composition of bedding should be reasonable: the proportion of sawdust and rice husk is half and half.

two。 Moisture control should be moderate: 40-50%

3. Fermentation temperature is the most important: the fermentation bed needs to go through fermentation ripening treatment (that is, fermentation technology) before it can be put into pig feeding. The purpose of fermentation technology is to proliferate the dominant bacteria and to kill the microorganisms in most of the bedding materials which are not conducive to pig production (including the vast majority of pathogenic microorganisms and mold). The temperature of the prepared cushion should rise to about 40-50 degrees the next day, 60-70 degrees on the 3rd-4th day, and return to 40-50 degrees in 5-7 days to achieve the effect of fermentation.
